Sam had gathered the rest of his cult members to celebrate his newly renewed years.

Raising a glass, "To seven more years. " he toasted.

Everyone lifted their glasses. "Congratulations man."

Alex was also among them. He lifted his glass but he did not drink.

But none of them was surprised, he never participated in anything they did.

Suddenly, a strong wind began to blow from every direction, "What's going on?" they asked each other.

Then a voice came through.

" Make sure the Johnson family dies tonight... Or else, you all die!!!!"

Aurora.

Jeffrey knew something terrible had happened. He and Sam exchanged looks.

"I'm getting sick and tired of hearing this boy's name," Kelvin said.

"What does she mean they die or we all die?" Wale asked

"Exactly what she said," Jeffrey replied to him with an angry countenance.

"Let's go," Sam said in a commanding tone.

Alex got up and buttoned up his suit. "I don't think any of you will be going anywhere..."

Jeffrey turned, "Come again?!" He said in a threatening tone.

"You heard me!"

"You want to die?" Kelvin added.

"Not before any of you am sure."

"What?"

He walked and stood in front of them. "This is what I think. I think your god is badly wounded ... Tsk, tsk, tsk...

"Well, no one like I told you so, but..." he gloated, " I did warn her that she wants what she can't have. Fighting against the king of kings..." he laughs.

They looked at each other confused.

"If you don't get out of the way, I will run you over and kill you myself," Jeffrey threatened.

" I don't think you heard me currently, so allow me to explain.

"You see all these good waitresses and waiters that you see right here are my people. "

They still looked confused.

"So?" Kelvin said weakly. His head felt lighter, he wasn't feeling his fingers. "What's happening to me?"

"My wife's dream was to be an event planner you see, so when she died, I started the business to honor her.

"And of course, you all know am a chemist."

Their eyes began to blur, and their muscle was getting weak.

"Let me just get straight to the point; You have all been poisoned, both your food and drinks ...

"Don't blame me if it's too much, I don't want to take any chances in case you only have the drink, not food."

"Coward!" Sam said angrily.

"And right about now..." He checked his wristwatch. "The poison is taking hold. Soon you won't be able to move, nor will you speak because your tongue will start to twist, your hands are dead, and your head will be too heavy on your shoulders..."

Kelvin's legs buckled and he dropped to the floor. "Oh," Alex pointed at him, "he must have drunk a lot."

He walked around them, "You see, I long to see this day. I want to stop you all from destroying another family as you destroy yours with no remorse.

"But I could not do it. I don't know why I never thought highly of my talent sooner."

He looked away and walked towards the painting on the wall, " You see," he continued as he stared at the painting, "I always believe your gods will protect you somehow because I've tried to kill myself many times but nothing works.

"But, of course, this is what happens when you collaborate with higher wisdom, you get to see the things you have been taking for granted.

"I have not prayed in a long time, but because of this family... 'The Johnson', I realize, I can fight if I want to. I just have to be willing to give my life for it.

"So I prayed. And all of this just came to me in a flash." he laughs.

They collapsed on the floor, following Alex with their eyes looking defenseless.

Alex stopped in front of Jeffrey and bent down, "I believe this is the reason why I've been unable to kill myself.

"As much as helping this family feel like the right thing to do and stopping you from destroying anymore... Seeing all of you like this with your mouth shut feels so incredible." he closed his eyes slightly and breathed in like he was savoring the air.

"My potion should wear off in 6 hours or so, but of course, we all know this is not a trial. This is the judgment." He said angrily and stood up.

"You won't be able to feel your body, but believe me, you will see your death coming, the best part is; there is nothing you can do about it."

"Boss?" A young man in a waiter uniform called.

"Everyone has left the building. I paid them and sent them away. No one knows anything."

"Good. And the gasoline?"

"It fills the whole house as we speak. We need to leave now, boss."

Alex looked at their pity and paralyzed bodies on the floor. "You know, looking at you now, y'all look like Jezebel prophets. And me Elija, calling fire down from heaven." He laughed as he and his boy walked out.

The boy took a gallon of gasoline, poured and emptied the gallon. After, he moved back and gave Alex a fire lighter.

Alex brought out a cigarette, lit it, dropped it to the floor, and locked the door from the outside.

He and his boy walled to the car, and the boy opened the car door for him, Alex whirled back with his hand on the door, "I love good fireworks." he smiled and entered.
