Victoria glanced at Daniel angrily as he opened the passenger door as she entered with a frown face.

With the mood Daniel was in, it was obvious they were not in the same WhatsApp group at the moment.

With excitement, he closed the door and walked to the driver's seat.

After closing the door, he said as he started the car, " You see I told you," with an excited tone, "there's nothing to be worried about. These guys were actually pretty cool."

Victoria did not answer.

"So what were you and Jeff talking about earlier?" with his hand on the gear, he turned to Victoria, "Babe are you...."

Turning her face to him, she slanted him a displeased look.

"Babe, what's wrong?"

With an angry tone and a frown countenance, "Daniel, drive."

"What going on...?

"I said drive the damn car Dan!!!" she yelled.

Daniel looked petrified, he had never seen that look on his wife's face before. She looked scared.

Victoria remained silent till they got home.

Daniel wanted to say something but he knew it better to just keep quiet at the moment.

They got home and Victoria went straight to their daughter's room.

Gloria was already asleep with her mother-in-law lying down next to her.

She breathed out in relief as she closed the door slowly and went to their room.

Daniel was sitting on the bed waiting for her to come in.

"Is Grace asleep?" he asked as she was locking the door.

"Yea. Mum must have put her to bed, she's in her room. "

She moved to the mirror, sat down, and began to remove her earnings.

Daniel was looking at her through the mirror from behind. Seeing she was not looking at him, he asked as she was cleaning off her makeup with baby wipes.

"Babe, what going on? Please talk to me!"

She dropped the dirty wipes and turned to him. She opened her mouth and closed it back with a deep breath,

"Daniel, while you were with the boys; what do you guys talk about?"

"Nothing much. Just business and Kelvin and I talked about his new gallery. He wanted to work with me." he said with slight excitement.

Wiping her face down, "Do you sense anything there tonight... Does anything seem off to you?"

"Yea... The fact that you tripped on your heels. I know you, you never fell off heels before.

"If I don't know any better, I'd say you don't want me drinking that wine. What was that about?"

"Babe," she rose from the mirror chair, and sat next to him, "Babe, please listen to me. I believe that wine was no ordinary wine..."

"Oh... Kay..."

"I believe they wanted to initiate you into their cult..."

"Cult?" he echoed sarcastically, "Common babe, I don't think those guys are that bad."

"Listen, when I spoke with those women, I learned that all of those men had lost someone..."

"I don't understand..."
