There's an infestation in my mind's imagination.
I've got headaches all the time, and I'm hearing strange things. Your voice, your face, they show up in my mind. I try to push those thoughts away, but I only ever fail.
There's an infestation in my mind's imagination.
Flashbacks of when you and I were happy together keep coming back at random times throughout the day. Sometimes, the memory sends a shockwave through me so strong, I can hardly breathe.
There's an infestation in my mind's imagination.
When I'm working, I constantly wonder how you are, or who you might be with. The stomach in my brain throws up onto the page. I write and write until my hand is cramping.
Guess what the only word I keep writing is?
Your name.
There's an infestation in my mind's imagination.
I went to the psychiatrist. He helped give me ideas as to how I can get you off my mind. The treatment actually worked for a while.
But one day, I'm asleep, dreaming about the most wonderful things. Your face suddenly appears.
I wake up, out of breath.
My brain has given up. White flags are hoisted.
