Chairs scraped the floor, making me cringe as we hustled out of the physics lab.

Late night studies with snacks is kinda low-key fun when you have to endure hot moments. Call me a perv if you will

I was on the verge of sleep when two guys burst into the room all over each other. I didn't wanna watch because that would be invasion of privacy so I listened to the dirty little nothings they whispered to each other.

The moans, the grunts. I was sure they were Luke's friends who couldn't handle the tension so they released it...somehow.

At some point, the posters on the wall got torn but they kept going until they couldn't. Lucky me, I had turned off my phone torch. They collapsed on the mattress, wrapped in each other's arms. Lily walked in, mouth opened, spread a blanket over the , shook her head and walked back out.

Powerful hands clamped down on my shoulders. I frowned, stopping in my steps. "What about a wager between us?"

"A wager, you say?" I asked, as Killian's face came into view. "Dibs on who aces?"

He nods as we start walking again, his arm thrown over my shoulders. "Pretty much, yeah". We reach his locker. He opens it and switches his textbook with history. "Or is Azalea Evans chickening out?"

"You want a wager? Fine," I agreed. "Loser gets to fulfil the winner's wish. No cap". He pokes his cheek with his tongue and thinks.

While he thought, I fidget with my bag strap and looked around for a familiar mop of black hair. A part of me wished last night never happened, he was drunk and wouldn't remember or that it was a scene from a book I conjured.

"Deal," Killian's voice snaps me back to him. We did our secret handshake and he left for his next class. I watch his back as he entered the classroom. The hallways were clearing out too.

I took a turn for my locker when cold eyes met mine. He protruded his forefinger out into the air and motioned me towards him. Gulping hard, I edged forward like a disciplined dog.

"I don't have your number, Mika," he says, his deep voice coming out raspily.

"Why?" I asked, reaching his towering figure. He leaned against the locker, lazily and arched his brows. "Could've asked Lily for it".

"You maybe friends with my sister for as long as you remember but you don't know her like I do. She'll bother me for God knows how long," he sighed, staring me down.

I grasped my bag straps and shrugged, ''Not my problem".

He steps forward, "Listen here tiny lady, you brought this on yourself so make things easier for us if we're both going to be late".

I had less time to wrap my mind around the fact that he just called me tiny and lady in a sentence. "Late?" I risked a glance at my watch. My eyes widened, I turned and sprinted off.

Heart pounding, andrenaline rushing, I kicked the door open. Mrs Carmen has just stood from her table, papers in hand and everyone is staring at me like I'm an alien invading earth. My knees almost buckle because I'm not used to the attention. There's always an invisible line in my name.

"Nice of you to join us, Mr King," she says, sarcasm dripping from her tone. I frown, straightening my posture until a hot breath hits my bare neck. I turn slightly to my left to catch a smirking face already staring at me. How did he get here so fast and still look handsome as ever? Meanwhile, I look like I used the washing machine as a portal to class.

Rolling my eyes, I pushed my legs forward and settled into an empty seat. Mrs Carmen distributes the papers. "You have 1 hour".

Of course she doesn't know most of her students cheat. If idiots could fly, this place would be an airport. While she sits behind her desk reading Acotar, Sage Stewart and her hoards pass their papers behind to Quincy Houston, AKA the brain of the class.
