I walked with Gally to breakfast and avoided every look that was thrown our way. I looked down at our hands intertwined, his tanned and freckled skin against my own pale skin. It seemed to match somehow.

Frypan smiled wide when he saw me and told me how much he missed me. "These shanks couldn't keep the Kitchens clean if their life depended on it." I held back a laugh as I saw two Cooks mocking him. "It's good to see you back."

"It's good to be back." I grabbed my tray and we walked towards the tables. I saw my friends and they smiled when they saw me.

"Hold on." Gally grabbed my arms softly and turned me. His lips were soft against mine. It went quiet. My face burned a bright red and I kept my head down as I walked to the table where Minho and Nico's mouths were hanging open.

"What the hell was that?" Minho hissed. "I shucking knew it. Nico, you owe me your bacon."

Nico grumbled but passed the food over to Minho's plate. "I hate you."

"You guys placed a bet?" I looked between them.

Nico shrugged. "It was bound to happen."

I place my head in my hands. "You guys are the literal worst."

Nico hit his hands against my shoulder-something he did when he got over excited. "Oh my god, but it finally happened. When did it happen?"

"Last night. After our fight in the Glade. We kind of confessed to each other. And then we kissed."

"Is that all that happened?" Minho wiggled his eyebrows at me and Nico looked expectantly. I stared at him confused. He gave me a straight face and shook his head. "I'll take that as a no."

I narrowed my eyes on him. "Don't you have some running to do?"

His eyes went wide and he checked his watch. "Oh klunk." He grabbed his plate and took it to the counter, running to the Maze wall. Now it was just Nico and I. Newt was still in the Med-hut and Alby was presumably with him.

I felt eyes on me and turned to Nico. He was just smiling. "What?" I whined.

He shook his head. "You truly are innocent."

"About what?"

"Everything."

I bit my lip. "What did Minho mean about doing other things?"

"Don't worry about it Flor. If you don't know, then it doesn't matter."

I pouted. "I'm not that innocent."

He snorted. "Right."

I just sighed and continued eating.

After breakfast I finally met the last Greenie. He was a short chubby boy with a mop of brown curls on his head. He looked younger than all of us. He introduced himself as Chuck.

Alby had finally emerged from the Med-hut, seeming in a better mood than any other time he visited Newt. He was doing better today.

"You look better, Florence." He commented.

"I feel better."

"Good that. Well then, today you can be with the Greenie as he trains for the Builders, considering you missed it." I nodded, biting back my smile. I would get to spend more time with Gally. "You know where they are, so get yourselves over there."

Chuck followed me like a lost puppy and had a lot to say as we made our way to where the Builders were. It looked like they were still working on my hut, but it was almost done.
