I watched the girl. Waiting and hoping that she would wake up soon. I wondered who sat by me while I was out. I didn't wake up until three days later. I have been watching her for a couple hours now and I was so bored.

I decided that I would go for a walk real quick and be back, sure that she would still be dead to the world, but when I stood up, I heard her groan. I turned back quickly and rushed to her side.

Her eyes were wild as she stood up, trying to grasp where she was. I knew what it was like to wake up not knowing anything and be surrounded by boys, so I spoke to her calmly. "Hey, it's okay."

I tried to reach out for her, but her arm was quicker and she hit mine aside, knocking her elbow into my forearm. I hissed and pulled my arm away, allowing her to run out of the hut. I looked back at the two other Med-jacks. They stared at me with wide eyes. I raise my eyebrows at them. "She's not going to bite."

"She might." Jeff's voice shook slightly.

I rolled my eyes and followed after the girl. She was fast and was making her way to our watch tower. The boys who noticed her started gathering at the bottom, chattering noisily.

Things started to fly from the top, hitting people. I ducked out of the way, narrowly missing being hit by a rock.

"Why the shuck is she throwing things?" A boy yelled out.

"Try being a girl waking up in a place like this." I shot back. I thought about climbing up there and talk to her, girl to girl, but when I called out to her she through another rock at me. "Okay, screw that plan." I muttered.

Gally had joined the pack now and was yelling at Greenie to not throw anything else. She responded by hitting him in the head. He ducked and held his head. I giggled behind my hand and he shot me a look. Still mad, got it. I just shrugged my shoulders and looked away from him. Thomas, Minho and Chuck got here and Thomas was yelling up to the girl. When he said his name, the assault stopped.

"I'm going to come up okay?" Her head was small when she peaked over the edge. "By myself." He looked at us and I stepped back. She did say his name afterall. She probably would be more comfortable with him anyway.

Thomas climbed up the ladder to the platform the girl resided on. We couldn't hear them speaking and after a minute or two Newt asked him if she was going to come down. Thomas said to give them a couple minutes and Newt shooed us away from the tower.

Gally walked away, his hand still on his head. I grabbed his arm and he looked at me. "Let me check your head."

"It's fine." He dropped his hand.

I gave him an 'im not stupid' look. "You can be mad at me all you want, just let me see how bad it is."

He rolled his eyes and since we were close to the kitchens, he took a seat at one of the benches. I stood in between his legs and moved his hair so I could find where the rock hit him. He winced when my fingers grazed it. I mumbled an apology and went back to the same spot, moving his hair softly.
It was only a small red bump. I told him this. "Nothing to worry about." I moved to step away but his hands held onto my waist. "What's the matter?"

He rested his head against my stomach and he shook his head once. He sucked in a breath, pulled back and stood up. He bent down to kiss me once and walked away.

I spent the rest of the day with Nico, not even bothering to go back to the Med-hut. I kept my satchel with me just in case, but I was tired of being cooped up. Besides, Nico was a good distraction from my current situation.

He wanted to talk about what was bugging me, but I didn't want to make him think that Gally was weak, so I just told him I didn't want to. He dropped the topic and tried to tell funny jokes. Most of them are overused, but I laughed anyway.
