{Jordan's pov}
I woke up with a jolt. I don't remember falling asleep. It was almost six in the evening. Rubbing my eyes, I got up and looked around the room.
Will was nowhere to be found.
The bathroom door was cracked open slightly, so I walked over and opened it. And there, hanging from the shower curtain rail, was Will.
"WILL!" I screamed and rushed over to him, "WILL, PLEASE! NO!" I got him down but it was too late.
There was a note on the floor with my name on it.
Jor-
I just want to let you know, I love you so much. You were my entire life but I couldn't do this anymore. I couldn't deal with the fact that we weren't together anymore and that you had a new life. I'm sorry for any stress I've caused you. Please tell my mum I love her.
-William xx
I wrinkled the note up and threw it across the room. I put Will's head in my lap and stroked his hair. The marks on his neck caused a lump in my throat.
"No!" I said as the tears fell down my face. I shakily pulled my phone out of my pocket to call Will's mum.
"Hello?" She asked, "Jordan?"
I swallowed, "Hello, Margaret." I said quietly.
"Jordan, dear. What's wrong?" She asked, her voice rising in pitch.
I choked back more tears, "It's Will," I paused to breathe, "he hung himself when I fell asleep." There was a pause.
"What?" she asked in a quiet voice, "Will's dead?" I nodded even though she couldn't see me.
"I'm so sorry." I mumbled. "Don't be," she whispered, "it's not you're fault. He loved you so much." Ouch.
"He wanted me to tell you he loved you." I muttered. "We'll have the funeral next week, I suppose. Will you come?"
"Of course. See you then." I said sadly.
"Goodbye, Jordan."
I can't believe this is happening. I just got him back and now he's gone. I scanned Will's bathroom for razors before calling the police.
I held the blade to my arm, "Twenty four." I whispered and tore my flesh open in neat, thin lines. After I was finished I dialled 999.
"What's your emergency?"
I shook my head like this was a dream, "My friend hung himself last night."
I stood in Will's room and adjusted my tie. Today was the day. Today was the last time I'd ever see my beautiful British boy.
Today was the day I had to say goodbye.
Will's mum honked from outside the building. I ran down the stairs and got in the car. Immediately I was greeted with a tight hug.
"I'm so sorry, sweetheart!" She exclaimed. I only nodded.
When we arrived at the funeral home I lost it. I couldn't hold my tears in any longer. We walked into the building tears streaming down our faces.
This was it.
It was an open casket and the marks on his neck were still prominent.
I stared at his face, he was finally at peace. But I couldn't help it when I say I wish he would've taken me with him.
I put my hand in his hair, tears dripping onto the casket, "I love you, William." I blubbered.
"I always will. You're my everything. You're the reason I kept going. You're the reason that I'm still here." I took a deep breath.
"And now you're gone." I whispered and closed my eyes.
My eyes snapped open to the sound of Will's voice, "Jordan!" He yelled, "Jordan wake up!"
"Jordan!" He screamed, "You need to wake up! Now!"
I flew up and saw Will sitting beside me, worry covering his face.
It was all a dream.
"Will!" I cried, "I thought I lost you!" I threw my arms around him.
I couldn't believe he was alive. I couldn't contain my tears. Will was holding me as I sobbed into his chest.
"I will never let you go again, I promise."
