{Jordan's pov}

I watched as he dropped to his knees. I listened as he screamed out in agony with his head in his hands. I could see his pale skin shimmer with tears.

He lifted his head and for a brief second his eyes met mine, though he did not seem to register that it was in fact me.

When he looked back as if checking to see if he had been seeing ghosts, our glances connected. He stared at me in awe and stood up to come towards me.

As he got closer and closer his pale skin reflected the light coming in through the large windows on the walls.

For a moment I considered allowing him to meet me, but instead I rose from my seat and ran.

I ran like I was a cheetah hunting down my prey. When in retrospect it could be stated that I was not the cheetah. I was instead the prey.

My dull fingernails managed to submerge themselves in the flesh on both my palms as I ran. Soon my breathing became heavy, my vision blurred.

Before I could protest, I collapsed sending my head smashing on to the cold tile flooring of security.

Blood pooled around my dirty blonde locks. My eyes kept fluttering shut, and in return I forced them open only catching glimpses of my surroundings each time.

I heard screaming of my name, and even if my own voice. I couldn't depict what I was saying, or trying to say.

My fiction and reality fused as one while people were talking to me and the voice in my head was too. I couldn't tell real from fake anymore.

Suddenly paramedics surrounded my body flashing lights in my eyes and asking me all sorts of questions. If I answered anything I'll be impressed.

I thrashed around trying to get them off of me. I was fine I didn't need a hospital. They held me down and tried to get me to relax.

I couldn't relax.

I wouldn't relax.

I heard someone with an accent call my name. Their voice cracked as if they were about to cry.

I saw them run towards me, drop to their knees and slide to my side.

"Jordan," they sobbed, "Please no." Their voice was echoing and it sounded distant even though they were right there beside me.

My hand was then encased by a sudden warmth of what I assumed to be their hands.

An oxygen mask was placed on my face as I was loaded into the ambulance. No amount of fighting would make them let me go so I went limp.

This is not what I had planned.
