The next day the guys had a show in Georgia. We arrived there early today. The boys were on the stage for sound check while me and Lynn were in their dressing room. I was reading The Great Gatsby.
Gabby, Calum's cousin that Ashton cheated on me with, was coming for the show and I was kinda nervous. I mean if what if she wants Ash? I probably can't compete with her.
I could barely even focus on my book I was so worried and anxious. And that's saying a lot.
Once the boys were done with the sound check Ashton came over and say with me on the couch. He put his arm around me.
"Hi" he whispered in my ear. I closed my book and gave him a quick kiss on the lips.
"Hi" I said back.
We talked and made out until there was a knock at the door.
"That's probably Gabby" Calum said and hopped up to get the door.
I glanced at Ashton then saw Gabby walk in. She looked so, perfect, compared to me. Calum introduced her to Lynn and then it was my turn.
"Hi Bella" she said with a smile.
"Hello" I said then smiled back politely.
The boys were having some conversation and me and Ash were on the floor. I was lying between his legs, head on his chest and he was playing with my hair. I felt his breath tickling me as he laughed at something Michael said. I start to fidget as you begin to get uncomfortable so he loosens his legs a little until I got into the right position and clamps them tight so it doesn't change.
He whispered a soft "You okay princess?" in my ear. I nodded and he kisses me on the head and continues the conversation with the rest of the boys.
Soon the boys were on stage performing and Lynn was somewhere and me and Gabby were making awkward small talk. Extremely awkward small talk.
"Look, Bella I'm sorry I kissed Ashton that night I didn't know he was taken or that one day either. Everything was my fault. I'm just so happy that you guys aren't ruined. I hope we can be friends." She said.
"Don't worry I mean you didn't know. It's ok really" I said awkwardly.
That was the moment when Ashton Irwin's girlfriend and the person he cheated on her with became friends.
We began chatting and Gabby was telling me embarrassing stories of Ash. We were currently laughing about how he tried to skateboard one time and the boys and Lynn walked in.
"So your friends now?" Ashton asked.
"Yep" you said.
You smiled at each other and kissed. The butterflies never left every time you kissed him.
"Hey guys" Michael said "There's fireworks on the hill behind here. "
