"Let's go inside."

The interior of the lobby was even more beautiful than the front, an empty front desk where the bellhop would have worked at and intricate lamps on every corner of the marble, some even hanging on the walls. Glancing up the pair noticed a chandelier, even shimmering in the darkness of the room. The power had been cut off years ago unfortunately, Colby thought to himself as he tried to reach the tip of the chandelier.

"Check out this seating area." Sam ran over, the fur of the couch still soft, seemingly missing dust from over the years. That's weird, they're almost brand new. Colby sank into the white material, his finger tips dragging across the top. Sam seemed less interested in the furniture and more interested in the ghosts, running up to a photo that was posted on the wall.

"These must be the people who lived here!" Sam pointed the camera at the frames that were hanging near the elevators. There were five photos each, around eight to twelve people in each photo, depending on how many members lived in one apartment. Colby got up quickly, glancing at each of the old photos, the pictures in black and white as they had to be taken in the early 1900s.

"Which floor should we visit first, Colby?" Sam asked, filming Colby who had been eerily quite. Colby dragged his hands over each photo, stopping at the second floor. He felt weirdly drawn to this photo, something about it stuck out to him. He scanned the faces of each member in the photo, Sam shooting him a weird look at the amount of time he was taking to decide.

"I'm not sure." Colby paused, handed hovering over a picture of the people that used to live on the second floor. Nothing was special about the photo, each person smiling cheerily, but something about the girl on the end drew him in. She had a bow in her hair that Colby assumed was white, the color contrasting against her dark brunette hair. The girl was also wearing a massive sweater, covering up a beautiful white dress.

"Do you think we should split up?" Sam laughed, shoving Colby slightly as he shook himself out of his stare, looking back at the camera as he realized what he had been doing for the past three minutes of footage.

"Definitely not, wouldn't want you to get too scared." Colby teased Sam as he scoffed.

"As if, I think we both know you are extremely jumpy!" Sam poked Colby in the side as they began to play fight, the camera dropping in the process as the pair groaned. "Oh no, now we're only down to one camera. What are we supposed to do if we split up?" Sam sighed, upset that the equipment would need repairing.

"It's fine, we'll stick together for now. When we split up, you'll take the camera. I know you like to film anyway." Colby squeezed Sam's shoulder as he made his way to the entrance of the stairs. "Well what are you waiting for?" Colby raised an eyebrow, Sam eagerly ascending the stairs.
