"Class 1-A. It's always Class 1-A. You guys sure are an epitome of chaos, aren't you?"
Bakugou didn't miss the strangeness of Monoma's tone. It was laced with venom and boiled hatred. He doesn't know if it was only directed towards him or Class 1-A as a whole.
Bakugou scowled at the accusation. "We aren't sure yet if the traitor is in my class! Don't start jumping into conclusions!!!" he yelled. "Deku and See Through may be there, but we didn't get a hint if they're talking to a classmate!"
Despite saying those things, most of his suspicions are majorly focused on Class 1-A. He doesn't have any concrete evidence to support this, but his insticts are warning him about it. And that's not something you should brush off so easily. However, he might also be wrong, so it doesn't hurt to consider other classes being part in their suspect list.
'Deku is in the same class as mine... He's the main character, too. So it won't be surprising if there are troublesome characters hiding in our midst.' Bakugou pursed his lips. As much as it pains him to accept that Midoriya is the protagonist, he must set his own emotions aside and focus more on the logical side. 'Not only that, All Might is our teacher. That itself can attract anyone with bad intentions!'
Meanwhile, Monoma looked at him as if he's a disappointment. "Right. You're just saying that because it's Class 1-A." he drawled, almost sounding accusatory. "How typical. I guess for someone like you, defending one's honor still serves an importance."
Bakugou blanched. "Hell no! Don't fuckin' twist my words!" he yelled with outmost distaste. At that point, he was already tempted to knock the daylights out of Monoma. "I just think it's stupid that we will only focus on Class 1-A, your class is also one of my main list! In case you don't know, one of my classmates are going to be involved with those extras in Class 1-B!"
Monoma's eye twitched at the part where Bakugou mentioned about extras in Class 1-B. He didn't bother to hide his displeasure towards him.
Meanwhile, Bakugou eyed Monoma skeptically. He couldn't shake off the feeling that something is off. It is unsettling.
Monoma sighed and raised both of his hands as a sign of surrender---kind of. "Okay, I get it. You guys aren't the only ones getting onscreen. Therefore, there will be others too." he said, almost sounding resigned. Almost. He still refuses to drop his claim though. Deep inside, his vote is definitely on Class 1-A---he doesn't know whether it's because of his bitterness towards them or because the main character is also in that class. Maybe both. "But we can't deny that the story mostly focuses on your class. It makes sense if the traitor is in Class 1-A. Moreover, it's much convenient! Also, not to mention, All Might is also your teacher. I don't need to elaborate any further, because it's already self-explanatory!" He swung his right arm through the air, trying to make his point clear.
Bakugou frowned, he hated the fact that they both thought of the same thing. He knows that Monoma's words made sense and it's so damn annoying.
"Damn it!" he cursed in frustration. As much as he wanted to blast Monoma to Mount Everest, he is forced to accept that his class is an epitome of misfortune and chaos. Things sure aren't getting easy for them. "Okay then, mister smarty pants..." he sneered, "Since you're soo knowledgeable, do you recall any of his features?" he questioned, intending to provoke Monoma. "We don't know his face, but we can get a hint by his hair color."
Monoma didn't care about Bakugou's sour mood. He just acted like he's not talking to a human but an angry pomerenian. He then placed a hand on his own chin, trying to remember the dream. "All I know is that... he's blonde." he said. "As for his body, he seems much slimmer... has less visible muscle mass I suppose."
