Now what?

𝐓 𝐰 𝐞 𝐥 𝐯 𝐞 （𝒱𝒾ℴ𝓁ℯ𝓉）ᵏᵃᵗᵉᵛˢᵗᵒʳⁱᵉˢ ᵒⁿ ᵗⁱᵏᵗᵒᵏ

As I walk up to my locker and as I put in the code a girl gets flung into me. I fall to my knees and spill my books all over the floor.

"Omg I'm so sorry!" she screeches. I keep my head down snd quickly gather my books. "Don't worry about it" I mutter, as I scramble to my feet Cori runs up to me. "Vi, are you ok?!" he asks, frantically checking me for injuries. I smile and nod and then look back at the girl.

She has gorgeous red hair and beautiful hazel eyes. Her hair flows down her arms and the jewellery on her face suits her so much.

She shoots out her hand for me to shake and Cori nudged me. I throw my hand out and shake her hand. "Hi! I'm Candace!" she smiles.
"I'm Violet" I reply. She stops and looks at me in curiosity. "Wait...Violet, like the Violet?" she asks.

I look back to Cori who is also looking just as confused as I am. "Sorry, Jason's girlfriend? Everyone knows about you!" she squeals. Jason's girlfriend? Everyone knows about me? What does she mean.

I stutter and look at the boy next to me who's jaw is clenched and is looking straight at me. As I shake my head his body relaxes. I look back at Candace. "No, I'm not his girlfriend" i mumble.

It's like a lightbulb flicks on above her head. "oh...OH! I am so sorry. Friends?" she asks. I nod and smile. "Friends".

When the bell rings to clarify school is over Candace finds me as I head to the doors. "Violet!!" she screams, running towards me. I flinch as she leaps on me.

"Do you mind if I stop at yours tonight? My brother is bringing over his girlfriend" she groans. I really don't want her to come, it's kind of hectic. "Sure! It'll be fun" I smile. She wraps her arms around me and I do the same.

Cori walks up behind me and pulls my bag, pulling me away from my new friends. He brings me to him, grabs my hips and turns me around. I look up at him and smile. "Hi" I say cheerfully. "Hi" he laughs and then kisses my forehead.

"Do you mind driving me and Candace home?" I ask. He looks back at Candace who is currently smiling awkwardly. I push out of Cori's arms and stand next to my friend.

He groans. "Ok, but we got to hurry I need to get home for a bit". I smile at him and mouth a 'thank you' which makes him blush.

Once we get home I take Candace to the lounge room where we both collapse on the sofa. Cori quickly rushes and pulls me in to kiss my temple. "I'll be back in a bit" he shouts back when he has already rushed to the foyer.

I fall into the sofa and blush. "He's in love with youu" she teases.
"What!" I shout, embarrassment filling my body.
"Mhmm" she mutters. I grab a pillow and bury my face in it. I throw it at her and that's when our pillow fight starts.

After awhile, Jason walks in. "Hey" he smiles then sits next to me. I look at him and nod. He leans forward and twists his head to get a better look at Candace. He points at her. "Who's that?" he asks. She rolls her eyes and groans. "Imm literally in all of your classes!".

Jason raises his hands in defence and gets up and walks out. "He likes you too!" she chuckles.
"No way" I laugh. She nods and then I begin to recall everything. Every look we've shared, every touch, every breath and you know what? She might be right.

There's a whole different side of him when he's with me. And honestly, I like how he's like that with me. "Hey, can I use the bathroom?" she stands up. I nod, "of course! Up the stairs on your left" I reply. She nods her head and goes off.

5 minutes later, Cori arrives. He jumps next to me and greets me with a kiss next to my lip. I smile and grab his collar, bringing him closer. I push him down and straddle over him as my mouth smashes into his.

His hands are travelling around my waist and my hands are cupping his face. I begin to take my arms out of my sleeves and I throw my shirt to the floor, his hands start to travel up when I hear something. I stop and he stops too. "What was that?" I ask. He looks in the direction of the stairs. "I don't know" he mutters.

"Adam!" A voice hollers. Shit, Candace is up there, I jump off of him and drag him up the stairs to the bathroom. I sling the door open, no candace. I open my door to find Adam on top of Candace. "Shit!" I hear Adam shout. I immediately shut the door and I turn back to Cori, my chest, against his. He takes off his shirt and puts it over me.

He holds me close to him, not saying a word as we wait for them. When they come out they are still panting like dogs. They lean their backs against my door. Ew. My bedroom.

"What the fuck? Candace did you really come to my house to get close to my brother? And in my bed? That is honestly disgusting" I ask, I think I'm about to vomit.

"Oh please, Vi. Like you haven't been getting close to Cori and Jason." Adam groans. I feel Cori's body tense up. I look up to Cori. "After he told me about what happened with my dad, we haven't done anything. I swear" I whisper, only for him to hear.

He nods and kisses my temple. "Violet, I didn't come here for Adam. I didn't even know you were siblings" she murmurs. I roll my eyes. "I'm going, I won't be back until the morning" I explain as I am about to walk off and then I remember what I wanted to say.

"And oh, clean my sheets" I say. I walk to the stairs with Cori's hands locked in mine when Adam grabs my arm.

"You're not going anywhere, Vi." He demands. Cori turns around and I see him about to hit my brother but I push him back. "You can't tell me what to do. You're not my dad"

Saying that makes me feel uncomfortable. I miss him. Especially after knowing what happened to him.
