"Luna, how are you feeling?" the doctor walked in and asked me.

"I feel fine doc, when can I go home?" I asked him.

"We advise you to stay for a few days since you did just have surgery on your brain last night." He said and checked my vitals.

"One thing I want to also advise you to do is stay away from alcohol for now, because due to you drowning in the pool; it caused pressure on your brain. We also tested your blood, and you have alcohol poisoning. So that means no alcohol." He pointed his finger at me.

"Yes sir." I said and laughed at how serious he was.

"We will be checking your vitals by the hour; I'll be back later." he said and walked out of the room.

"So, do we tell mom and dad about us?" I asked Jack.

He looked up from his phone, "are you sure?" He asked me.

"I'm positive." I smiled at my boyfriend.

Boyfriend. I still can't wrap my head around it.

We heard multiple footsteps get closer and in came walking our family. My mom ran to my side, "how are you feeling sweetie?" She asked me.

"I'm fine mom, the doctor wants me to stay here for a few days since I had brain surgery last night." I told her.

She coddled me and kissed me on the head, "don't you scare me like that ever again. You hear me?" She said and coddled me again.

"Mommmm." I groaned. She backed away and sat down on the chair in the corner.

"Can yall give us the room, we need to speak to our parents about something." Jack said.

"Sure." Sammy said and they all followed him out.

David and my mom looked at the both of us, "so now that you and David are divorced. Jack and I wanted to let y'all know that we have been together for quite some time now. But it's been off and on, in secret. We just didn't want to tell you both because it might cause the divorce to happen and then I might lose Jack. But now that you guys are divorced, Jack asked me to be his girlfriend a little while ago and I said yes. Because I want to be with hi-

"Stop talking." My mom shushed me.

"Mom, technically-

"I said STOP TALKING." She raised her voice.

Oh fuck.

Bad idea letting them know about the both of us.

"You approve of this?" She turned to face David.

"I didn't even know about it but technically she's right. They aren't siblings anymore so it isn't wrong to be with each other. You can clearly see that they both love each oth-

"Break up with Jack or I'll make sure you don't have a home to come home to." She said and stormed out of my hospital room.

Silence grew in the room as David gave us an apologetic look before running after her.

I turned to look at Jack as tears ran down my face. He wrapped his arms around me as I sobbed. I can't believe my mom would say that to me. Her out of all people.

David's right, Jack and I aren't siblings anymore so I can basically be with whoever the fuck I want and I choose Jack to be that person.

I grabbed Jack and he leaned down, I pulled his face close to mines and kissed his lips, "move in with me?" I asked him.

"Yes." His eyes lit up. I grinned at Jack and we kissed once again.
