Terra Kha'Sim consumed the desert for a total of three days. With Uncle Salty acting as our guide, we used the desolate environment it created to skulk toward the Tomb of the Boom—something that would've been near impossible if there was nothing blinding this bland landscape.

Using my State Jynxist pocket watch to keep track of the vanished sun, we safely made it onto solid ground by the time night fell. Since there was no life suicidal enough to step foot outside Terra Kha'Sim, I splurged an extra amount of mana to create a pyramid-shaped earth tent large enough to fit all of us comfortably.

The whipping sands slowly chipped away at our tent so either me or Joji would wake up every few hours to reinforce it.

Just like back at the farming village, we chose who was inheriting our abilities and equipment in case the worst possible outcome was to occur.

My Way worked both ways. It had the ability to receive abilities as if it were presents but it also had the added benefit of giving them away. I set a condition to who my abilities would go to if I died and ranked them on who'd have priority.

My Way itself would go to Joji, Clint, Trebor, then Jaime. But only because Jaime promised to become the greatest swordsman. If she got My Way, she'd have to divide her attention between that and her three swords.

Epitaph would go to Jaime first, followed by Clint, Joji, then Trebor.

Zenyatta would go to Jaime, then Clint, Joji, then Trebor. Controlling a Stand was something you got used to. All you had to do was familiarize yourself with its abilities then you were good.

Finally, Guns And Roses would go to Clint, Trebor, Joji, then Jaime. This ranking was for obvious reasons.

Clint and Joji both agreed to My Way so if either one or both died, their abilities wouldn't be wasted.

And because both Jaime and Trebor only used cursed artifacts, they just announced who'd get their equipment.

Jaime said she didn't care who got her swords and it was up to the survivors to pick and choose among themselves.

Trebor ranked who'd get the priority over Whip It with Clint being first, then Joji, me, and Jaime.

"What about me?" Uncle Salty pouted.

I extended a hand. "Agree to My Way. If you die, I get your ability. I'll add you to the list."

"Hek hek hek. No, thank you, Little Sage. Walk This Way is mine alone."

While everyone was asleep, Jaime woke me up to ask for a favour. She wanted to make a contract with herself and set restrictions to give herself a boost in power in certain situations.

She asked me to keep it a secret from everyone else so I locked my lips and threw the key away.

One benefit to Terra Kha'Sim was the fact it blocked off the sun. It wasn't too hot and that saved a lot of the hydration in our bodies. We also didn't have to stop at noon to hide from the sun's rays. All in all, it was the perfect temperature to travel in.

And since all the monsters were taking shelter from the dry storm, we didn't have to keep our guards up in fear of an ambush.

Terra Kha'Sim ended early on the third day which finally allowed us a view of our destination. We would be reaching that place late in the morning.

Before we marched toward it, Clint checked on us, making us put away anything shiny that could catch the sun's rays. Jaime also put on a hood to cover her vibrant green hair.
