Chapter 45

Jen's POV:

I watch as Josh' limo fades away into the distance. I then race back into the bathroom and check the timer. 10 seconds left. I count down and it rings. I stop it and run over to the sink. Taking a deep breath I pick up the pregnancy test. Two lines, that makes it positive.

First, everything is silent. Next, i'm sobbing and throwing the test on the floor. Then, I'm cursing the world. Finally, I'm picking it up and smiling. This is Josh and I's second chance to have a baby. Originally I found out I was a pregnant before Nicholas kidnapped me. I hadn't told Josh yet though, and I lost our baby due to the harsh rape I received from Nicholas. I never got to tell Josh this because the accident happened right after the raping, but when I had to get my required medical exam since I was a victim of rape, I was told I may never be able to get pregnant again.

I looked down at my stomach and placed my hands on it. "Hi my little miracle baby," I whisper softly. A tear of joy rolls down my face as I laugh softly. "This is the sound of your mom's voice," I cooed. "I love you, and I'm going to keep you safe," I whispered. "I promise," I added. Even though Josh and I hadn't planned on having kids yet, I knew he'd be overjoyed by it.

I spent the next few hours getting everything ready. I knew tonight had to be perfect, because tonight would be the night I would tell Josh about our future child. I took two mire pregnancy tests just to double check, and they came back as positive. I slipped into a strapless tight black dress that I knew Josh loved, and fixed my hair and make up.

By the time 8:40 rolled around our candle light dinner was set, all we needed was Josh. As if on cue my knight in shining armor entered. "Hi baby!" Josh called. He froze when he saw everything and smiled. "Wow," Josh said softly. I laughed a bit blushing. "You look...wow," Josh said again blushing. I smile and kiss him.

Josh and I have a sit and begin to eat. While we eat we make occasional small talk. After we've finished our entire meal I decide it's time to tell Josh. "I have something to tell you," we both blurt out at the same time, followed by laughter. "You first," I say procrastinating a little more on telling him. Josh takes a deep breath and looks at me.

"I just want to say how beautiful you look tonight," he says softly making me blush more and more. "Jen, I have fallen madly in love with you, and no matter what happens I will feel that way until the day I die. When I think about my future, I always see you in it. I love you so much Jennifer Lawrence," Josh whispers.

Suddenly Josh is down on one knee and smiling up at me. "Jennifer, will you marry me and make me the happiest man alive?" He asks. I smile, tears of joy running down my face. "Yes,".
