Josh' POV:

It's been 2 years and 2 weeks since I lost my memory, and I haven't got it back. The doctors say that at this rate their isn't a way I'll get it back. But, I'm okay with that.

I've been living with my parents and taking courses on an online college. I just received a degree and now I've decided to write a novel. I've watched the movies I was in and I've liked them all. I'm no longer interested in acting though.

Even though I'm no longer interested in it, I decided to go to the Mockingjay Part 2 Premier. My parents thought it was a good idea, me seeing all my old friends.

I step on the red carpet and smile. Camera's flash and people scream my name, it's a bit overwhelming. "Josh!" I hear a name scream. I turn and see a girl run towards me and give me a hug. I hesitate and hug back. "You don't remember me but we were good friends before the accidents," she tells me.

I talk to more people and before I know it, I've reached the end. I look up and freeze. It's Jen, I don't remember her but for some reason I feel a close connection and my heart skips a beat whenever I see her. I've been told I proposed right before I blacked out. We make brief eye contact before she looks away, her face dark red.

A few hours later the movies over and I'm at the after party. I'm just about to leave when I see Jen sitting along. "Jennifer?" I say softly walking closely to her. She turns and smiles at me. "Josh," Jen replies her voice cracking a bit. I bite my lip sitting next to her. "Cool party huh?" I say, awkwardly trying to make conversation. "Yeah. You know, you and I first hooked up at a Hunger Games party," Jen says laughing. "We were so drunk, I never realized I loved you until a few days after," She says softly. I laugh along as she tells the story.

"How's your memory?" Jen asks. "Better I guess, I remember bits and pieces but they're from my childhood," I answer. "Do the doctors say you'll get all of your memory back?" She asks. "They did, but they think its too late now,". "I'm so sorry Josh," Jen whispers. I look deep into her eyes. "It's not your fault Jen," I whisper.

Jen leans in and so do I. Before I can make sense of the fact that we're kissing, everything goes bright. Suddenly millions of memories flash before my eyes. I see myself kissing Jennifer, I see us on dates and spending time together, I see our first time, and I even see the proposal. I gasp and return to normal.

Jen is crying and people are gathered around us. Their are paramedics. "Josh! Josh, can you hear us?" One of the paramedics asks. I look over at Jen. "Jennifer!" I shout and kiss her. She laughs kissing me back. Jen cries softly and laughs after we've pulled away. "I remember, I remember!" I scream and engulf Jen in a great big hug.

Authors Note:

If I'm being honest I'm unhappy with the way this chapter turned out but this was the best way I could think of for Josh to get his memory back.
