Chapter 17

Ive noticed a lot of fanfics have suggested music to listen to while reading so I suggest Alive by One Direction because it sets the mode or Habits by True Lo because the beat just kinda leads to anticipation.

Josh's POV:

Officer Will helps me put on the bullet proof vest while Officer Daryl and some other cops start strategizing. I scratch the back of my neck nervously, which Officer Will notices.

"Don't worry, everything will be fine" he assures me. I nod and give him a small smile, but i'm sure he sees right through it. Eventually Officer Daryl gives me the signal and I get in my car and drive to the hospital.

On the car ride so many thoughts fill my head, they all revolve around one person. Jen. I wander if she's with that prick Nicholas. The thought of him makes me angry but I shake it off remembering my mission. Maybe once I prove myself innocent Jen will forgive me. Maybe.

Finally I arrive at the hospital. I slowly gulp before shakily getting out of the car. 'Come on Josh, pull yourself together' I think to myself. I pretend i'm just doing an acting role and it leads me to calm down.

I head on over to the back alley where I found Liam S. And his 2 friends. Sure enough, there they are. One of them recognizes me and smiles waving. "Hey guys look its uh, whats your name again?" He asks.

"Josh" I reply walking up to them. Liam S's lips curl into a smile. "I remember you, back for some more drinking?" He asks. I nod and grin at them. They all grin back which relieves me knowing they believe me.

"Well we finished the last pack but theirs more at our bar we own" Liam S. explains. My heart stops, this wasn't a part of the plan. I decide to go knowing they'll be suspicious if I just leave. Besides, the officers put a track on me so they'll be able to track me down.

"Okay, I'm in" I tell them. They all nod and grin. "Alright oh and by the way i'm Liam" He tells me. I smile and nod since technically i'm not supposed to know his name. "I'm Joe" one of them pipes up. "And i'm Chris" the other says. I shake all their hands and we head to Joe's car.

Since Joe was already a bit buzzed his driving was reckless. The other guys laughed along and I joined in deciding it would make me seem less suspicious. Eventually we pull up to an abandoned bar. "This is the bar?" I ask confused. "Sorta we all live in their" Chris explains. I nod and follow them in.

To say the place was a mess, is an understatement. It looked as if a hurricane had hit. The floor was covered with dirty clothes, empty beer bottles, used cigarettes, lipstick, condoms, and hairspray bottles. Their must be girls here too.

"Is it just you three?" I ask. Chris shakes his head. "Theirs this guy Dylan, Joe's slutty- uh I mean girlfriend, and one of her friends" Chris explains. Joe smacks his head and the two get into a fist fight. "Hey, boys, we have a guest!" Liam S. Shouts pulling them apart. "Now come on, lets go get the alcohol."
