Jen's POV
An hour later I'm at Taco Bell with Nicholas, sitting at a round table eating our tacos.
"So, Jen, why did you contact me?" Nicholas asks.
I sigh.
"I was wrong to break up with you, you were right, Josh didn't treat me right....you did. I know you probably hate me but I needed to tell you" I reply sadly.
Nicholas is silent for a minute. He just sits there eating his taco and staring at me. After finishing the taco and sipping his sprite he speaks again.
"I've missed you too, but how do I know I won't get my heart broken again?" He asks.
"Look Nicholas I can't promise that, no one really can without breaking it. Maybe this will be the start of forever, or maybe not. The future is full of surprises" I tell him.
"I'm willing to give us another chance" Nicholas says slowly.
"Thank you" I reply smiling.
"But this is your last chance" He warns.
I nod and we walk out together hand in hand. We pass by a bunch of paparazzi and Nicholas happily announces that we're back together. I really did miss him, he's a great guy, but I still want Josh even though he hurt me.
