Summary:
Stephen and Tony finally adopt to make a family.
Story:
“ Tony sit down!”
“ Can’t I’m nervous- aren’t you nervous?”
“ Of course I am but you don’t see me freaking out about it! Now sit!”
“ Alright alright!”
Tony sat back down with his husband. After endless paperwork, background checks, checking their finances. Tony and Stephen were finally able to adopt.
“ Okay we’re ready!”
Tony held his breath and Stephen squeezed his hand. “ Gentlemen meet Peter!” The two gasped seeing young boy with brown hair wearing Einstein t-shirt and blue jeans. Biggest surprise was that Peter looked older than what they expected.
“ Wow..how old are you?”
“ Tony~”
“ 14...”
Peter answered shyly. Looking at the wall. “ Younger kids are always adopted first we have waitlist. But since your paperwork got cleared-I’ll let you three chat some.” The lady excused herself giving them alone time. Peter finally looked up giving nervous expression.
“ You weren’t expecting someone older were you?”
“ Not really.”
“ Honestly thought we get a girl. I’m Tony and this my amazing husband Stephen~”
Stephen blushed giving small wave. “ Did you want a girl or just kid younger? Peter mumbled tugging at his shirt.
“ We just be lucky dads to give a child a family they deserve.” Stephen states matter of fact surprising Peter.
“ Y-you don’t care that I’m older?” Tony chuckled rubbing back of his neck.
“ Honestly I’m glad we’re skipping the toddler step. Potty training scares me.” Peter giggled and both men’s hearts melted.
Peter talked about everything. What he liked, didn’t like. Peter really loved science and had sketches of his inventions.
“ He’s like a little you.” Stephen whispered into Tony’ ear lovingly.
“ I can picture you now mothering him.” Tony whispered back.
“ I also draw comics books. You want to see them?”
“ No need kid.”
Peter frowned the thought of him not being adopted kicked in. “ I have an old study I don’t use anymore. Be prefect size for kid your age.” Stephen said smiling.
“ What?” Peter whispered in shock.
“ Well we didn’t exactly do anything to the room. Plus since it be your room you can paint it however.” Tony added with a grin.
“ Peter can we be your dads?”
Peter hugged them both without hesitating. Tony and Stephen’s family was finally whole now.
