Lagos, Present Day
Wanda adds sugar to a cup and stirs it as She looks around her.
"All right, what do you see?" Steve asks.
"Standard beat cops. Small station. Quiet street. It's a good target." Wanda replies.
"There's an ATM in the south corner, which means-"Cameras." Wanda finishes for him.
"Both cross streets are one way." Steve says.
"So, compromised escape routes." Wanda replies.
"Means our guy doesn't care about being seen, he isn't afraid to make a mess on the way out. You see that Range Rover halfway up the block?" Steve asks as he looks around.
"Yeah, the red one? It's cute." Wanda replies with a slight smile.
"It's also bulletproof, which means private security, which means more guns, which means more headaches for somebody. Probably us." Nat says as she's sitting a few tables down from Wanda.
"You guys know I can move things with my mind, right?" Wanda asks.
"And that I can control metal...." Y/N says growling as he eyes down the man staring at Nat.
Wanda sees him staring and touches the back of his head. She uses her powers to calm him down as she makes him think about food.
"Looking over your shoulder needs to become second nature" Nat tells her almost sternly.
"I have you and Y/N to do that for me." Wanda replies while holding her boyfriend's hand.
"How do you know we we'll always be here?" Nat asks her.
"Well why wouldn't you? You two plan on leaving me?" Wanda asks as some of her emotions start to slip through.
"No Wanda, that's not what I meant." Nat replies.
"Anybody ever tell you you're a little paranoid?" Sam asks as he sits a few feet from them.
"Not to my face. Why? Did you hear something?" Nat asks.
"Eyes on target, folks. This is the best lead we've had on Rumlow in six months. I don't want to lose him." Steve says getting back on track.
"If he sees us coming that won't be a problem. He kind of hates us." Sam replies.
A garbage truck pushes its way through traffic, with no regard for human life or other vehicles.
"Sam, see that garbage truck? Tag it." Steve orders.
From the back of Sam's jet pack, a small drone shoots out and flies down to scan the garbage truck.
"Give me X-ray." Sam says.
weight analysis: Cargo Weight: 13825 kgs. Max capacity.
"That truck's loaded for max weight. And the driver's armed." Sam informs them.
"It's a battering ram." Nat says.
"Go now!" Steve ordersz
"What?" Wanda asks confused.
"He's not hitting the police." Steve tells her.
