     Avengers Compound

"Still no word from Vision?" Ross asks Rhodey through a hologram.

"Satellites lost him somewhere over Edinburgh." Rhodey answers as he sits on a desk.

"On a stolen quinjet with seven of the world's most wanted criminals." Ross says.

"You know they're only criminals because you've chosen to call them that, right, sir?" Rhodey asks.

"My God, Rhodes, your talent for horseshit rivals my own." Ross answers.

"If it weren't for those Accords, Vision would've been right here." Rhodey replies as he looks at him.

"I remember your signature on those papers, Colonel." Ross throws at him.

"That's right. And I'm pretty sure l've paid for that." Rhodey says referring to his knee that got crushed by Mord during the fight at the airport.

"You have second thoughts?" Ross asks.

"Not anymore." Rhodey answers before Steve and the rest of the team enter the room.

"Mr. Secretary." Steve greets him as they all fill into the room.

"You got some nerve. I'll give you that." Ross says with a light chuckle and Jamari rolls his eyes.

"Shut up." Tay tells him as he leans against the wall.

"You could use some of that right now." Nat says to Ross.

"The world's on fire. And you think, all is forgiven?" Ross asks.

"You can't put the fire out." Pietro answers.

"I'm not looking for forgiveness.. And I'm way past asking for permission. Earth just lost her best defender. So we're here to fight. And if you wanna stand in our way.. We'll fight you, too." Steve tells him.

"Arrest them." Ross orders angrily.

"All over it." Rhodey replies before turning off the hologram.

"That's a court-martial... It's great to see you, Cap." Rhodey says as Steve walks to him.

"You too, Rhodey." Steve replies as they shake hands.

"Well. You guys, really look like crap. Must've been a rough couple of years." Rhodey says as he looks at them.

"Yeah, well, the hotels weren't exactly five star." Sam tells him.

"What's your excuse?" Pietro jokes and Jamari and Tay chuckle.

"Uh, I think you all look great." Bruce says which takes them by surprise.

"Yeah. I'm back." Bruce tells them as he holds Ryan in his arms.

Betty walks out and stands by his side, giving them a smile. The team smiles at the fact that Bruce's family is back together again. They go towards them one by one and end up in a big group hug. Bruce smiles as he appreciates the support from them.
