Ok so it's obvious this Julia chick doesn't like me.

And I'm not one of those dense people who doesn't know why. Oh I know why.

It's because I'm good friends with Colby. And she's jealous.

I don't really understand that kind of mind set. Ya know the jealous type.

The 2nd day me, Nicole, Colby, Sam, Julia and Justin decided to go eat out at some Italian restaurant downtown.

I put on a purple long sleeve lace top with jeans and black combat boots. (looks prettier than it sounds sorry)

The whole car ride Julia was sending me death glares because I was sitting in the van beside Colby while she sat in the very very back with Sam.

When we arrived we sat at a booth in the corner of the restaurant.

After all the others ordered it was my turn.

"And what would you like?" The waitress asked me with the biggest fake smile ever known to man.

"Can I just have |insert some sort of pasta here idk|?"

She looked at me as if I'd grown 2 heads and scoffed.

"I'd stick to the salad if I were you." she said looking me up and down since I was on the edge of the booth.

"I second that." Julia said smirking and giving me a disgusting look.

I looked over at Nicole who had her jaw dropped and eyes wide not speaking.

"If you'll excuse me." I said a bit hurt by this turn of events.

I stood up looking at the other guys.

Sam was making a similar expression as Nicole.

Justin was just looking around looking awkward. As usual. He's so dumb.

And Colby just looked angry.

My eyes brimmed with tears.

"Kenzie..." Colby whispered still looking at me.

I looked at Julia's stupid smirk one last time and ran to the bathroom.

On the way there I heard Nicole chasing me.

But I beat her to the one person bathroom and locked the door.

{Nicole's POV}
What the heck just happened.
Was all that was running through my mind at the table.

Kenzie was standing there about to leave to the bathroom after the remark Julia made.

"If you'll excuse me." She said standing up picking up her pocketbook.

That's really got to hurt the little self esteem she DOES have.

I looked over at Colby who was staring at her. Looking pissed.

"Kenzie..." He whispered trailing off.

She looked at me and her eyes bored into mine as she attempted to speak but her voice cracked since she was almost crying.

She ran towards the bathroom.

Oh heck to the nah. She was not gonna go through this alone. Let alone without her best friend.

I just wanted to be safe. Cause you're better safe than sorry.

I ran after her accidentally sticking my butt in some people's faces trying to get out of the booth. Oops.....

But she had beat me to the bathroom and locked the door.

"DANGIT!" I said slamming my fist against the door trying desperately to get in and stop my best friend from something I know she'll regret forever.

"Kenzie! Please!" I said sliding my back against the door knowing I couldn't get in the door.

"I'm fine I'm just using the bathroom Nicole." She said almost emotionless from the inside of the restroom.

I trusted her and left back to our table.

When I got back I noticed Julia wasn't there.

"Where'd Julia go?" I asked silently praising at the fact that the wicked witch of the west was gone.

"Ask Colby."

I looked over to where Colby was sitting. He gave me a weak smile until Sam spoke for him.

"He told her off." He said laughing hysterically at the blush that crept on Colby's cheeks.

It was quite hilarious.

I let out a quiet chuckle and sat back down in the booth next to Justin.

"Where is she?" Colby asked looking at me his expression mixed with a thousand emotions I couldn't quite decide what they were.

"She's still in the bathroom." I quietly said giving him a sympathetic look then gazing down at my food and started to eat.

{Kenzie's POV}

I cleaned up my running mascara from crying.

I looked in the mirror at my still puffy eyes and looked at my body.

I guess I have put on a little weight. Who am I kidding?!? I look like a hippo.

I know I sound crazy but I started to talk to myself.

"Okay Kenzie you've gotta have a plan. You'll start small and that's all it will be." I said to myself in the mirror.

"You're gonna skip some meals but that's all it will be."

"I'll help you be that skinny pretty child." I said in the mirror smiling at myself.

I walked out of the bathroom to see the pasta I had ordered. Still sitting at my spot where I was sitting.

I saw her mentally give a sigh of relief.

Colby gave me a reassuring smile.

My eyes wandered to the empty seat that used to hold the- ya know what I'll stop now.

I was so happy she was gone though. Like I'm silently cheering on the inside right now.

I sat back in my spot next to Colby and looked at my pasta.

Right then another waitress can and asked, "Can I bet you guys anything thing else?" She said and put on a actual genuine smile.

"No-" Nicole had started but I quickly cut her off.

"Actually yes could I get a garden salad instead?" I said holding up my plate of pasta giving it to her.

"Why sure." She said taking my plate of what looks really good pasta and giving me the garden salad I had asked for.

I looked over to Colby and he gave me a worried look but I made sure to shoot him a reassuring smile. To make sure he didn't suspect me.

A/N: I finally got wifi so I updated
