Chapter {21}

Kenzie;

"She'll be okay right?"

A misty voice asked. After that my ears filled with a rigging noise. And I couldn't hear anything else. All I remember was I had a side splitting stomach pain.

That's all I can remember. I tried to open my eyes but my struggles were no use. I could feel my body twitching and tears running down my face at the amount of efforts I was putting into opening my eyes.

I tried my last time to pry my eyes open.

The white lights flooded my visions making me close them again. I groaned in pain as my side had a dull ache.

I looked around the room as my eyes adjusted and found no one in the room. Oh yea did I mention? It's a hostpital room.

I hit the button beside my bed to call the nurse in. I tried not to move because if I did, my side would hurt.

"You're awake." The peppy nurse with black hair said as she walked into the room.

"Yea, um can I ask what happened?" I asked concerned as to why I was in a hostpital bed in the dead of the night.

"Well we think your appendix exploded so we went ahead and removed it and sure enough that was the case." She said smiling her yellowish teeth setting her clipboard down.

I settled back down in my bed and stared at the white ceiling while the nurse fixed the IVs in my arm.
