It's hard to have a full-time job and have to balance between writing and drawing.

Her glowing Scarlet eyes stared deep inside him. The unpredictable nature of her personality kept him guessing. His mind held back his own words from escaping his mouth, feeling as it felt that she were reeling herself in for something. Apollo closed his eyes once he felt her breath an inch away from his lips. Closing his eyes ready to embrace her, his heart pounding out of his chest. A few long seconds passed only to hear a faint whisper. "Have a good night ~." Followed by a lick on the cheek. Moving herself to her cushion next to the fireplace, spinning around in one spot before lying down. Apollo lay there blushing for a minute as he felt his particularly erect member calm down before returning to bed himself feeling a little disappointed. Dammit. A part of me wanted to do it. Absol pouted for the rest of the night, wishing she had made a move and didn't wuss out at the last second.

Morning. Riley's 6:00 AM alarm on her phone went off in her room, waking her and her Pokémon. The sky still hasn't shown a sight of light yet which made it harder for her to get out of bed to start the day. She groaned as Apollo burrowed his head under her back helping her sit herself up. "Thanks, buddy. Do you mind starting the kettle?" She yawned, stretching her arms and back. He nodded to her as he also struggled to stay awake. She rubbed his head while she put her slippers on while she slowly headed into the restroom down the hall. The light from the crack of the bathroom door shone through the hallway to the sound of the shower being turned on and the steam escaping through the hallway.

Apollo followed his and Riley's morning routine they have been doing for almost 6 months now with near-perfect coordination. He would help her get up when her alarms fail to, starting the fireplace, and turning on the kettle for her morning coffee. Making sure she's awake and all set for the day. He quietly scampered by the sleeping Absol as he moved his step stool with his head putting in front of the oven. Jumping on and turning the stove on with his snout, setting it on high before giving it a little spark from his ember to ignite it. Sitting by patiently till it becomes a simmer to a roaring boil, signaling him to turn it down on low. Riley walked out in a different pair of sweatpants and a T-shirt from what she was wearing before. "Thank you for starting that." She smiled. "I was thinking we'd take a short hike up the hilltop to see what our new friend can do, what do you think?" She asked Apollo for some kind of acknowledgment, wanting his input. He looked a bit nervous about that but he agreed nonetheless. "Hey I'm sure everything will be fine, what's the worst that can happen?" She jokingly said, knowing she probably jinxed herself. In the back of her head, she also felt a bit nervous, not knowing what kind of outcome they would have to entail.

After taking in her morning coffee and spending the next 20 minutes trying to wake and move Absol from her bed. Throwing her weight at Absol proved to be useless with her light physique, Riley couldn't even make her budge an inch. Only when Apollo began to also start pushing till Absol gave in and finally started to get up believing they weren't gonna give up. Riley put on a thick sweater and her boots before hiking to a nearby field above a hill in cloudy and windy weather. "Okay, Absol let's see what you can do. Start by using slash!" Riley commanded, using the boulders, trees, and logs as her targets. Absol planted her butt onto the ground, not appearing to be listening. "Ummmm..." Riley stood there a bit embarrassed and tried to call out to her again only for her to continue to be ignored. "Absol? Is everything okay?" Apollo asked. Ughhh this is stupid, what's the point of this? Absol thought to herself, feeling this was a waste of time. "Fine..." She muttered. Standing back up, flexing her leg muscles before leaping forward towards the boulder. swiping her claws at it with such force, completely demolishing the large rock. Leaving nothing but pebbles and dust scattered around. They both stood there speechless. "That was... amazing!!!" Riley cheered. "I've never seen a Pokémon so strong!" Her appraisal caused her to blush and start to feel a bit embarrassed. "Try Psyco Cut next!" Despite Absol's lack of obedience, Riley couldn't believe they had a Pokémon so unbelievably powerful on her team.
