"No.. not quite." He shook his head.

"What do you mean?. Hes not.. a performer?."

"No, no. Thats not what I had meant. He is a performer, of course. Just.. not quite what youd expect.. I've known him for a while now.. and.. well.." He sighed.

"Come on.. he cant be THAT bad.." xe giggled.

Xe then looked over at William.. oh, this was bad.. William was not laughing, he looked rather let down.

"Mei, hes not very nice.."

"But you said that he was very *nice* at this?"

"Skill wise... he isnt the kindest around, you know.." William sighed again. "If you dont feel as if your energies match, you're always welcomed to quit."

Mei smiled. "I've been quite the accompanist, you know that, right? I can tolerate any kind of guy!"

William gave a slight smile back. "Yes, I know.. but since Ive known him, every accompanist he has had to this day, they all quit."

Mei looked a bit surprised by this. "oh um.. thats rather interesting... More so, concerning...?"

"But don't worry, I will handle this well, William!" He added.

William smiled. "Im so glad I have a friend I can really rely on, thank you, Mei."

William gave him a small paper with a phone number written on it.

"Reach out to him when you feel like it, no pressure."
