As Mei had finished playing, he looked back at Kameo.

"I hope my skills had fit your expectations."

Kameo nodded.

"Yes, youre pretty good at this, Id have to admit."

Mei chuckled.

"Thank you. Well then, shall we play together to see how it works out?"

Kameo nodded. "Yes, thats fine."

He pulled out his violin from the case as well as the bow. He grazed the bow across the strings, It was very finely tuned.

He then put his violin aside and glazed the resin across the bow hair. This would make his violin sound even better.

As he was done, he picked up his violin again, resting his face on the chin rest and placing his fingers on the fingerboard.

" Shall we duet the Waltz no.2 by Shostakovich? You surely must know how to play it if you know Chopin's Waltz.."

Mei nodded.

"Of course."

Kameo then pointed at the small metronome near the shelf with his bow.

"187? Like the original?"

Mei nodded yet again as he set up the metronome. They were now ready to begin.

Mei began playing the piece, going along with the metronome, not long after Kameo started playing along with his violin, it was sounding very pleasing to the ear, until not even a few seconds later... [Refer to 0:29] why was he still playing just like accompanying piano? Didn't all normal violinists just.. play small notes?. He was dumbfounded as they continued playing.

But as they kept playing, this duet started being more like a war. The violin was practically fighting the piano, in the worst way possible. So much so that probably, if anyone came in right now, they wouldnt be very found of this duet.

Suddenly, Mei stopped.

"Shall we restart this? I think we both sounded a little off."

He smiled.

Kameo looked annoyed.

"Maybe your piano did ,but not my violin, but sure, we can restart."

Mei's kind smile turned into an annoyed smile. How insulting. He took no offense though, William had warned him of his antics, afterall..

As they began playing again, this "war" came even earlier, oh, this screeching sound that came from the mixture of these two individually beautiful instruments was simply a cacophony!

Mei stopped again.

"You're quite not following the tempo, I believe.. shall we start again?"

Kameo had a cocky, annoyed grin by now.

"Im doing everything the way its supposed to be done. Sorry that you cant keep up."

Mei sighed.
