"Something wrong?", Mei asked, a bit hesitantly.

"Well.."

Sanche sighed yet again.

"My main instrument is actually not the Cello."

Mei seemed a bit surprised.

"But you play it so well!"

"I do.. but Id rather play the viola, I suppose. I think it sounds somewhat better."

Mei still seemed surprised.

"..Whats stopping you?"

"..My parents are very succesful with their businesses, and uh.. They want me to be a famous cellist. As much as I love the cello, my passion is more designed for the viola."

Mei nodded. 

"I see. but why dont you play both?"

Sanche smiled bitterly as he spoke again.

"They think the viola is rather.. irrelevant."

Mei sighed and frowned now as well.

"Cant say I didnt expect that answer, honestly. But.. its your talent, and your choice, at the end. isnt it?"

Sanche chuckled, but it was obvious it wasnt a genuine one.

"Definetly not. theres so much that they control about me."

Mei frowned. 

"What else?"

Sanche pointed at her long brown hair that faded into a light lilac colour at the end.

Meis eyes widened. 

"Even your hair?!"

Sanche nodded.

"..Even my hair.. Im not supposed to have hair this long."

He looked at the ground in a rather sad manner.

Mei seemed surprised yet again

"... whats the obsession with chopping it off?"

Sanche mumbled the following under her breath;

"The entire world is obsessed with it..

Mei tilted his head for god knows whath time today.

"Sorry, didnt quite catch that?"

Sanche shook her head profusely.

"Nothing, dont mind me.. I got off track, so, about accompanying.."

Mei disregarded his new friends obviously swept-under-the-carpet-feelings for now.

"Yes?"

"I have a Cello competition a few days later, could you perhaps be my accompanist?"

Mei smiled. He definetly wouldnt mind being an accompanist for Sanche, who seemed to be extremely polite, which was a trait he was very fond of. he eagerly nodded.

"Of course! Oh and Ill be sure to attend your concert tomorrow!"

Sanche grinned.

"Ill be looking forward to see you in the audience then, my newly found accompanist."
