AN: So....... It has come to my attention that Ashton hasn't had very much character development. I hope y'all enjoy! Please don't forget to comment and vote! XD Part of Ashton's house above.
There is something really lonely and depressing about being the fifth wheel. Okay, to be fair, the Bilger hadn't quite sailed, but nonetheless. What?! She calls him Bilyk and he calls her Tiger. Put it together, they're ship name is now Bilger. (Anne made it up!) How can they not see that they are so perfect together? Anyways, Anne's got Jarod and Chandler's got Claire. I walked down the hallway with my thoughts clouding my head. Who's the lonely loser dude? Me. I mean I got some girls trying to get in my pants, but it's not the same. I am a proud virgin and those kind of girls sicken me. I haven't yet found the girl who really clicked with me. I know we're in high school, but even Chandler the player has found someone he is willing to reject even the hottest girls for. BAM! Someone ran into me as I rounded the corner. I stumbled back a step before regaining my balance. The other person was not so fortunate. I looked down at a dirty-blonde girl with hipster glasses. Freckles dotted her nose and cheeks and her hair was in a french twist. (Don't judge me! I have two sisters!) Helen- one of the girls trying to strip me of my "V-card" (I can't even think that without shivering in disgust)- strutted over and stuck a finger in the girl's face.
"How could you ya little twit! Watch where you're fucking going!" The other girl shrunk away.
"Helen. Leave her alone. It was my fault. Hey, I'm Ashton. Sorry about that." I reached down to help her up. She hesitated and slowly slipped her small hand into mine. As I pulled her up, I noticed her pale, forrest green eyes.
"N-no I'm sorry I just moved here from Manchester and I'm just really clumsy I best be going now goodbye," she said in one breath. I couldn't help but notice her heavy, British accent. She began to walk away.
"Wait!" She flinched and turned back around.
"Y-yes?" I scratched the back of my neck. Why did I call her back? Idiot! I stood there like a fool.
"Um, n-nothing?" Real smooth ya moron! I mentally face palmed. She nodded quickly and scurried away. I winced as I thought of the encounter. What's wrong with me?! I shut the door of my locker and shook my head. The loneliness is seriously getting to me. I made my way to first hour.
*break*
The tardy bell rang and I sat down by Chandler and a few of our other soccer teammates. Chandler was throwing notes at Claire again. Anne sat next to her stifling her giggles. Mr. Jackson cleared his throat.
"Kids!" he boomed, "We have a new student!" He pulled a small girl to his side. Wait....... Hey! That's the girl from this morning!
"Meet your new classmate. This is Christina. Ms. Knight, will you please say hello to the class?" She awkwardly waved.
"Well," he ran his nail up and down his chin stubble, "the only seat is by Mr. Park over there." She nodded and sat at the seat to my right. Should I talk to her? And make more of a fool of yourself? In your dreams buddy. I shook myself out of my thoughts. Stop talking to yourself you nitwit! I focused my attention back on the Anatomy lesson in the front. Mr. Jackson droned on and scribbled on the board. He faced the class in his sluggish mannerism. Don't get me wrong, he's a great teacher, but it's like he does everything in slow motion.
"We are doing a partnered project class..." The class cheering looking around for possible partners.
"And I have already chosen your partners. Once you hear your names, go sit by them." Immediately, they deflated. He began to list everyone off.
