AN: I know, I play favorites....... Bilger happens to be my favorite couple. Sue me.  I would also like to give a little shoutout to my editor and one of my best friends, Rachel take a bow. She is basically like, the brains behind this book. I love her. Continuing......

Ashton's pov

My hands fidgeted as I sat on my bed. It was five and I was picking up Christina at seven. I looked down at my clothes. A plain, grey t-shirt with a black jacket and a pair of charcoal jeans. I really hope she likes this date. My phone buzzed and I jumped at the opportunity to take my mind off my jitters.

Chrysanthemum: Where are we going?

Me: That's a secret. ;)

Chrysanthemum: I need to know what to wear. What if I wear something casual and you take me to some fancy-schmancy dinner?

Me: Hmmmmmm..... You will look beautiful no matter what you wear.

Chrysanthemum: This is Claire. TELL ME WHERE THE FUCK YOU'RE GOING SO I CAN DRESS YOUR GIRL! Oh yeah, Anne's here too. -CL

Me: Okay, okay chill. Just dress her casually. And probably with a jacket just in case she gets cold. Alright?

Chrysanthemum: I would have preferred that you tell me where you two are going, but I suppose that will have to do. *dramatic sigh* -CL

I laughed at Claire's texts and gently tossed my phone onto the sheets beside me. The doorbell rang and I could faintly hear Steven answering the door. Silence. That's odd. I carefully pressed my ear to my door, trying to listen for any clues as to who might have come into my house. With no warning, the door opened...... On my face.

"Aasdfeokdsfn....." I grumbled incoherently.

"Oops?"

"Chandler!" I barked, "A little warning next time would be great."

"Well who told you to go around lurking behind doors? Not me."

"Whatever. What's the big occasion that you drop by so unceremoniously?"

"First of all, stop it with the big words. Secondly, can't a guy drop by to hang with one of his best friends?"

"Did you just come over to as you say, 'hang'?" I made air quotes with my fingers.

"Well, maybe I needed some advice."

"Mm hmm. I thought so. It's about Claire isn't it?" He sheepishly scratched the back of his neck.

"Am I that transparent?"

"To everyone but Claire."

"What do I do?" He flopped onto my bed and groaned, running his hands up and down his face in frustration.

"Grow some balls and ask her out."

"It's not that easy."

"I would think it would be very easy. Considering your history." He rolled his eyes.

"Claire's different. I actually have feelings for her. She's not just an easy lay. Plus I don't see you going and asking out Christina."

"Quite the contrary, I did ask her out. Technically, I did a long time ago, but we just decided that we would go out today."

"Well look at you. Such a lady's man," he muttered.

"Yes, because unlike you, I swallowed my fear. So now it's your turn. Go!" I started to push him out of my room.
