I woke up early on Sunday. I looked at my clock and saw that it said 7:00am. I really can’t believe the events that had took place last night. I also can’t believe the school year is almost over. To tell the truth I really like school. Everyone is so happy ‘cause the school year is almost over. Our school year ends on July 10. So we get a longer summer break. When my parents came home last night they were pist the hell off.

One because Josh and Luke got into a fight and two because they broke Izaiah’s Xbox 360. On the bright side of everything at least I didn’t get punished or anything. But…on the flip side my dad is furious at Josh and at Luke. Josh more because he’s been a family friend and he acted so stupid. But I still can’t get over the fact that they fought over me.

I was smiling at the thought of two guys fighting over me. But come on really…I still can’t wrap my mind around the fact that Luke still wanted me to be his girlfriend. The boy clearly has issues. Great now I know I would be the talk of the school and Natalie would be mad at me for just being who I am…it’s annoying at times.

I go take a shower and stay in my night clothes. I close my eyes and then my cell phone rings. I look to see who it was. It was Luke. Aww shit! Know I had to talk to the guy that my boyfriend almost slaughtered. I thought “Now if I answer the call he’ll probably want to talk about us and then if he tries to make a move I’ll have to tell Josh ‘cause it would be cheating wouldn’t it be. But I also know if I don’t answer he’ll address me in school. What to do what to do!"

Tykia picks up her cell phone and says "What Luke"?

Luke says "Tykia...hey..."

Tykia "What do you want Luke...You know what text me I can't even bare to hear your voice after what happened yesterday, and who the hell calls a person at 7am." Tykia hangs up her phone on Luke.

Luke texts "Srry 4 crashing ur birthday party".

Tykia texts "Apology not accepted. U crashed my birthday party Luke. OMG how do u xpect me 2 4give u that easily"?

"I don't xpect u 2 4give me dat easily. Babe plz give me another chance plz. We can start all over".

Tykia thought Luke must've been losing his mind. She's happy with Josh. He makes her happy. He loves her. He shows it through the jewelry, sex, dates and by throwing the party. Tykia calls Luke's cell.

"Hello. Tykia thought you didn't want to speak to me".

"Luke...I loved you and...And you broke my heart. I can't right now. No I can't go out with you anymore. We can't do this. I can't do this I'm with Josh".

“But Tykia remember all those great times we had together. That time we first met."

Luke and I were just in middle school when we met. He was popular and I wasn't as much. One day I was late for class and when I was running I dropped all my stuff even my pads and stuff. But Luke came over and helped me. He had a huge crush on me but I didn't know. He was the one that encouraged me to stand up to the people that teased me.

Luke said “Remember our first kind of date. You didn't even know I liked you. I took you to the skating rink. You busted your ass every time you tried to skate at first. But, you eventually got it. Then I took you to McDonalds. We played catch with my football I told you to try to catch it and instead it hit your face".
