The Truth & The Lesson At Family Game Night (9)

Today was Thursday and school opened back up. The only reason why school was closed yesterday was because of Professional Development. I woke up late this morning.

"SHIT" I said out loud.

I forgot to set my alarm clock yesterday after Josh and I.... The thought of Josh and me in bed having sex last night made me giggle and blush. I looked at the clock and saw that it was 9:30am. I totally forgot about me waking up late. I ran into the bathroom to take a shower. I put on a yellow shirt with some black jeans. My shirt said "I'm Am Beautiful". My jeans have "Apple Bottoms" on one of my butt cheeks of my jeans. I go downs stairs and I see my mom sitting down watching Maury.

I asks “Mom cam you drive me to school please”. Cause if I walk I'm gonna be late".

“Tykia you know your suppose to wake up at 9:00. How come you didn't set your clock last night? What did you do last night that made you not remember to set your clock"? My mom asked me.

“I had a lot of homework last night. I packed up my books and put it in my bag and I fell asleep instantly". I said.

I totally lied to her. Hopefully it was believable.

She gave me ' the stare'. She stared at me for like 2 minutes and then she sighed.

“Ok Tykia. I'll drive you to school. But do me a favor please remember to set your clock"

“Okay mom".

She threw won some clothes real quick and she drove me off to school. Before I got out of the car she told me that tonight was family game night.

“But mom family game night is only on Mondays and Fridays". I said.

“Well sweet heart Ms. Blake and I decided we wanted to have one today. You can still go see Luke at football practice today if you want but come straight home afterwards. You don't have to tell Josh 'cause his mother already told him".

“Okay mom bye".

"Bye".

She drove off and I went inside of the school building. I saw Josh talking to Destiny, Nicole and Michelle. He saw me come in and he winked at me. I blushed so hard I think my cheeks were super pink. I walked up to him and said hi to my friends. They said hi back. 

“Should I tell them Tykia or do you want to tell them" Josh said.

“I can tell them. Destiny, Michelle. and Nicole Josh and I". They cut me off before I finished the sentence. 

My three BFF's said in unison “You two are dating each other" in a we already know this tone.

“How’d you guys know that we were dating"? I asked.

“It’s totally obvious that you two were going out. All the flirting that was going on" Nicole said.

Was it that obvious that Josh and I were dating? I thought.

"Oh... well that was easier for me to get off my chest". I said.

John comes up and tells Josh that a game is coming up. 

John said " Oh Josh also Coach Carson said that your one of the starters".

“Really. Tell Coach I said thanks".

“Okay. Hey babe" John said to Destiny.

 He leaned to kiss Destiny smack on the lips. Then Nicole and Michelle's boyfriends came up to them. Their boyfriends were BFF's. Their names were Jake and Jesse. Jesse went out with Nicole and Jake went out with Michelle.
