Despite the initial shock that not only Principal Solaris had but more than half the school board as well, they reluctantly allowed me to perform as the back up for the half time show during the Homecoming game. Principal Solaris is an Anthromorph Hybrid, a Pegasus with a pitch black coat aside from her arms and hooves, giant Raven like wings, and a mane that resembled her name.

(Her School attire consists of a black suit jacket, same color skirt that goes to her knees, with a white blouse and a sun decorated tie.) Aside from that she was more than on board. "I think it would be a great idea!" She smiled while pressing her hands together. "You like everyone else is apart of this school and I feel it's high time that we allow not just our fellow Anthromorphs a chance but our one and only resident human to be apart of what this school's foundation represents."
What she said had me gushing like a fucking idiot. "Aww shucks ma'am, ya gonna make lil ol me blush up a storm." I hit her with my best southern accent and she burst out laughing. "Buuuut I am going to need you to give me the next few days off. Seeing as how this was out of the blue for everyone I'm going to need put in any and all free time that I have in order to make this work."
Principal Solaris nodded in understanding. "That seems reasonable, good luck Damien. I can't wait to see you're performance." As she smiled sweetly I smiled back.
"Thank you Principal Solaris for giving me a chance." I said before taking my leave.
After school got out Luna had called ahead and was able to rent a U-Haul and then gave me a ride to the storage unit where all of our parents things had been stored after they died. Just the thought of seeing their stuff alone had me in a way as I tried not to break down when Luna and I had arrived.
But once we got everything back home I got to work on my presentation. To make it easier I decided to go with a genre that felt a bit more comfortable for my first performance, which is rock and roll. I even started digging out my old notebooks which contained lyrics that I wrote myself.
At one point I wanted so badly to be a rockstar. And then after Mom and Dad as you would imagine I became too depressed to do anything at all aside from the most basic of necessities like eat or bathe. Now I'm telling myself that things will be different because that's what I decided that they will be.
Timeskip: 3 Days Later...... We were down by 17 at the end of the second half. One of our starting cornerbacks had gotten steam rolled by a group of rogue enemy players when everyone and their mother was trying to sack the quarterback, they all ganged up on him. Honestly it was painful to watch and he definitely broke something too.
Barry was having trouble trying to rally his fearless troops as the opposing team viciously attacked them when they were on offense. I guess you could say that it was almost as if they were acting within their respective nature. The field itself looked more like a damn battleground straight out of a war movie then a homecoming game.
