The morning after one of the best nights of my life I for a moment never wanted to leave my bed again and just lay there holding her as I watched sleep so peacefully and perfect. She laid her head across my chest and draped her leg over mine as her bangs hung over her eyes.
Even as I tried to sneak away she jumped up and pulled me back down to the bed. "Not done with snuggles." She said in a childish tone but after a moment she became more serious. "This is all so crazy... You and me, what we did and what you're about to do."
She gently squeezed me a bit more tightly. "You might not want me to, but I have to do this." I said as I brushed her bangs aside. "It sure as fuck isn't fair I get it. However what happened to you I can't allow it to happen again, and not to other people if I have anything to say about it."
We shared a kiss as she gave me a fanged smile. "Always the hero aren't you?"
"Absolutely." I say before she finally allowed me to go free and get ready for the day.
I started off with my usual morning workout before taking an ice cold shower. From there I just threw on a pair of sweatpants and a tank top before gathering of my weapons and giving them a once-over. Thankfully Dad had also hidden some tools for weapon maintenance within his little crawl space. So I took apart my sniper, my pistols, and my D5 Copperhead Assault Rifle.

After I cleaned and reassembled my guns I pulled up a map of the entire sector and started marking points of interest. I even made a Map Legend and marked each spot as a certain color before writing down all that I knew about each individual point.
By the time I had finished all this the sun had begun to set as I found Luna leaning against my door frame holding a key fob. "Remember how Dad had that motorcycle Mom had forbidden him from ever riding?"
"No." I say as my eyes widened, Luna's smile growing wider as she tossed me the key fob. "Shut the fuck up!!!" I yelled out as I got so excited that I backflipped off the wall and let out a Peter Pan call.
"Easy there tiger, I was going to wait until you're birthday." She shrugged. "Buuuut given what you're about to do along with the fact that you got your permit a couple months back I think now would be a pretty good time."
I walked up to her and then gave her a hug and a loving kiss. "Thanks Lulu, your the best."
Once the sun had finally gone down I set out to the garage on the other side of town where Dad had stored his old motorcycle away from the other storage unit. I was still a little kid when he first brought it home. He hadn't even had it for a year before he said that he wasn't going to ride it anymore. Funny enough you never what the reason was.
When I did get to the garage I snuck around back behind the office. It was all an automated system ran by service droids. Which allowed me hack into their system after I snuck in and shut it all down but only for a brief time before the security protocols switched everything back on automatically.
