Euphemia stared at the bed. She stood quietly with her loving smile. She couldn't move as she held the doorknob that her fingers wrapped upon.
The hospital bed carried Seohyeon. The sheets covered her from the cold air and rippled a bit as she tried to move her arm. Thre were also tubes coming from underneath it and was connected to the machine by her side.
Her puffy eyes was staring at the window where a couch was beneath where Fritz, who had a phone in hand, sat staring at Euphemia. She later turned to her tired and dim amber-like eyes to Euphemia and stared at her with her face that seemed so much thinner. She gave her a smile underneath her oxygen mask covered by the strands of her never-fading purple hair.
Euphemia gently rushed to her side and leaned her lips to her forehea to kiss it. She sat on a chair to her side, "You're feeling better right?"
Aquila stood silently behind her. He gave Seohyeon a gentle smile.
She barely gave a nod for her answer. She could also barely move without shaking.
"Yay," Euphemia said silently and smiled, "we're a day closer to our dreams."
She gave her a deep stare. Her eyes started to become teary as she looked at her yellowish eyes. She gently and weakly gave her a shake with her head.
"Don't say that," she said quietly as her voice began to become more stern and shaky.
She moved her head, asking her to come closer. She could barely whisper to her ear, "L-less, less than a week."
Her quiet, gentle and barely audible words blasted into her ear. She withdrew her widened eyes. She stared into her in her bed as her shadow loomed over her. Her breaths became quicker and louder. "One minute," she said silently. She turned her infuriated eyes to Fritz, "Can we talk for a second outside Fritz?"
Fritz nodded to her as she opened and walked the door. He followed her and closed the door as he walked outside. His face became in shock as he felt his back get slammed on the wall. He looked at her in the eyes puzzled as her fingers held his shirt as he was being pinned to the wall.
Her tears started to overflow from the edges of her eyes, "You told her?" she grimaced, "Are you fucking serious?"
He couldn't answer, he just stared at her eyes surprised.
She slammed him again to the wall, "Why di-"
"Told her what?" he shouted.
"Don't be fucking stupid!"
"Oh, about the week?," he asked.
"No shit!" she shouted as she slammed him again.
"Look!" he said, "It wasn't me, alright? It was Simon."
She dropped him, and grnded her teeth as her eyes raged. "Simon? That asshole!" she said as she turned to the hall leading to the elevator, "So that's why he couldn't look at me, I begged him not to tell her!"
Fritz opened the door, "She's going to Simon!" he said to Aquila.
"Stay here with her," he said, "I'll go ge-" he stopped as he was about to go. He stared back, down to Seohyeon's fingers, clenched to his wrist. His eyes moved to her face, that seemed that it was as if she was begging him not to go. "Fritz, you go get to them," he said as she gave her a light smile.
"What?"
"Stop her from doing something stupid," he ordered, "Go!"
Fritz rushed through the hall, towards where the elevator was. His footsteps resonated back soundly back to the door, where the two remained.
