Episode where Carina meets Maya mom.
Pruitt has passed away so Carina helps out with you more. Changing the Katherine scene alittle.

   Station 19

Maya enters her office with her water and sighs. She starts her paperwork as Carina enters and smiles " Hello Bambina. I'm here to pick up my child." Maya looks up and laughs " Oh you can have him. He didn't like the lunch you packed." Carina looks confused " I put his favorite foods." Maya stands up " Yes but the PediaSure was the wrong flavor. I was told eww momo." Carina starts laughing " He drink the last chocolate one last night. I told him if he drinks it. He wouldn't have one for lunch." Maya kisses Carina " I guess he didn't listen to you." Carina leans in Maya kiss and deepens the kiss and gently leans her back
until there a knock on your door and Emmett walks in " Sorry Captain. Your mom is here?" Maya quickly pulls away as her mom walks in and smiles " Hi..... you must be the baby nanny. I'm Maya mom Katherine." Carina looks confused "Oh no I'm not his nanny. I'm his." Maya cuts her off " Mom what are doing here?" Carina looks hurts " I'm going to go.... Umm talk to you later." Carina quickly leaves as Katherine smiles " I left your dad. And I'm going to help Mason get clean and get his baby back." Maya looks shocked " What?" Katherine sighs " The baby is better off with being his actual father. Mason is a good kid he just needs help." Maya laughs coldly " He is better off with his father? You haven't even meet your grandson and second of all if Mason wanted to be involved in his kid life he wouldn't have given him up." Katherine shakes her head " He only did it because of his ex girlfriend. He wants to get clean." Maya shakes her head " Never in a million years will Mason have custody of my son. Are you aware that Mason didn't even know when his kid was born? And when I got custody of him they were calling him it?" Katherine looks down as Maya continues " Oh it gets worse there was coke residence on his gums. They put coke on his gums to have him stop crying. He was a 3 pounds when I got him. He is still the smallest baby out there. And having to hear his cries as he was going through drugs withdrawal were the worst. And there wasn't anything I could do about it. How about also mom he can't let me out of sight or he gets scared? You know how hard that is. No you don't. So Mason can get clean and do whatever he wants. But he won't get custody of of him." Katherine " I didn't know it was that bad.... He stop by and." Maya cuts her off " Feed you lies so he can get money?" Katherine sighs " I still want custody....I'm leaving your dad as it is." Maya shakes her head " I'm the only stable person in his life. You don't even have a job or a place. Go back to dad. It what best for you." Katherine shakes her head " He is abusive... I can't go back. He is awful." Maya is about to speak when the bell goes off " I gotta go. Just go back to dads he isn't abusive. Bye." Maya quickly leaves as Katherine waits for her come back.

Seattle Zoo

Andrew puts a tiger hat on you and you yell " Mama!" Carina looks over and chuckles as she grabs you from Andrew " Andrea he doesn't like hats." Andrew smiles " But he will look adorable." He tries again as you grunt " No Zio!" Carina laughs " Ok stop. We won't get the hat. How about a stuff animal?" She brings you over to the shelf as you look at the animals and point to the monkey and lion as well as the penguin and the wolf. Carina smiles " Oh so you want four stuff animals? I say only two. Pick two bambino." You pout " lease." As Andrew looks over and chuckles " Oh come on Carina. You are a doctor you can afford four stuff animals." Carina sighs " it not that I can't afford it. It I don't want to spoil him" you huff at being ignored and pat Carina check " Mama lease." Carina smiles " fine bambino." She grabs all the stuff animals and you squeal happily. She pays for your animals and got you a shirt and some bath toys and takes you to get ice cream as she sits down with you and Andrea. You stick your hand in the ice cream and smile " Yum!" They laugh as Carina " Luca. You can't be patient can you?" She sits down and wipes the remaining away and gives you a small spoonful of ice cream. Andrea looks over " I wouldn't worry about Maya cutting you off early. She was probably nervous. She hasn't came out to her parents yet right?" Carina shakes her head " No. but it not that.... It just hurts. Luca is my baby too. He is closer to me than Maya." You look up " Luc?" Carina chuckles " Yes you silly." She feeds you another scoop as she looks at Andrea " I feel like he can be taken away from me at any moment. I been there since he arrived. I didn't run away. I been there. I was his first word. He crawl to me first. And I'm not saying Maya a bad mom. Because she not. She is amazing with bambino. But I want to be accepted." Andrew nods " Talk to her.... Maybe she can settle your nerves." You yawn and bury your head in Carina boobs. She looks  down and kisses your head and rocks you. Her and Andrea talk  and then head back. Carina lays you in your stroller and walks in with you she bumps into Katherine and gives a small smile " Hello. Umm is Maya around?" She shakes her head " Oh no. Not yet. They went on a call I been waiting for a couple hours.... Is that Mason baby?" Carina looks upset " Umm Maya baby. This is Luca." She brings down the cover and shows Katherine who smiles wide " He definitely Mason mini me. Even has his bird tail hair." She reaches down to push it down as Carina quickly moves the stroller " Sorry he has a weak immune system. If you wash your hands I will let you hold him." Katherine looks shocked " I'm his grandma. I can't give him germs." Carina looks concerned " That doesn't matter. I rather you just wash your hands  so we won't expose Luca to unnecessary germs." Katherine sighs annoyed " Must come from his birth mother side. My two children came out as healthy." Carina fixes your blanket and smiles  as she sees you waking up and yawn " Short nap today bambino." You kick out your legs and suck on your pacifier as Katherine quickly puts hand sanitizers and reaches to grab the you. She smiles " Hi. I'm nana." You whine and reach for Carina as Katherine rocks you " Ah you are ok. They are setting up for the dinner. We could help." Carina nods and follows as you whine and whisper " Ma." Carina strokes your check "va bene, tesoro"( you ok baby.)You whine as Katherine looks over " What is that?" Carina smiles " Oh I'm Italian. I speak italian to him. He understands."  Katherine nods " Umm so what are you to Luca? I gotta say I never thought Mason would call his kid Luca." Carina mutters Italian " This is Maya baby. His name is Lucas but I call him Luca." Katherine sighs " She isn't his real mom." You sense the tension and whine reaching for Carina as Katherine holds you tighter. You let out a cry as Carina answers " I help Maya with the baby just as everyone else does." Katherine nods " Ah ok."   You sniffle and whisper " ma." As Carina has had an enough " I'm sorry but can I have him back?  I think he wants to go back to sleep." Katherine shakes her head " No. I can put him to sleep." Carina shakes her head " he isn't use to your scent. He won't fall asleep." Katherine " No he will be fine." She adjust you as you start crying. As Maya and the rest of the station 19 get back from the call. She sees Carina desperate face and her mom not giving you back and worst of all you crying. She runs over " Mom what are you doing?! Give me my son." Katherine holds on tighter to you as you let out a scream as Carina speaks " Bambino calm down please. Maya he going to struggle to breathe. Get him to calm down." Maya nods and grabs you from her mom vice grip and holds you close " buddy calm down. It momo. Breathe." She blows in your face trying to calm you down. Carina gets close and brushes your hair out of the way " respira tesoro. va bene."(breathe baby. it is ok) Maya rocks you and you calm down and hiccup. They smile as Maya kisses your head " You are ok. Momo and mama are here. You aren't leaving us." You lay your head on Maya chest and huff as they rub your back. As Maya glares at Katherine " What is your problem? He wanted to go to Carina. We try not to make him cry cause his lungs are weak and he will struggle to breathe! You jump as Maya yells and Carina gently takes you and rocks you. Katherine sighs " He was fine. He just need to get use to me. And he isn't your son! " Maya sighs annoyed " You are thinking of Luke as a second chance. He isn't. He is my baby and nobody will take him. You need to go back to Dad. I'm not dealing with this. I don't wanna hear about dad being abusive.  I have my own life going on. So let leave." Maya walks off with Carina following her. Carina shuts the door as Maya sits down and groans  "Give me my baby." Carina gently passes you off as you snuggle into Maya and reach to touch her face. She kisses your hand " Momo is here. Nobody is taking you away. You are safe." Carina bends down and kisses your head as Maya looks at you  and then Carina " Why did she have him?" Carina sighs " We got back from the zoo  and she saw us. Ask if it." You interpret " momo gers! Roar!" Maya laughs  " Oh yeah? Did you see monkeys too?" You nod and smile " mama toys."  Carina nods and smiles " I did. I got him four stuff animals." Maya fake gasps " four stuff animals?! Wow spoiled buddy." You smile and nod but yawn as Carina  smiles " But she grab him right when we got here. I didn't know you guys had already fought. But he was whining. And that when I ask for him back. She made me mad. Calling him Mason baby. He our baby." Maya smiles and nod as Carina sighs " Bambina I don't want you to take the rug away from me." Maya looks confused " What?  Do you mean rip the rug away from you?" Carina blushes " Umm yes. I'm bambino Mama.... I don't want to wake up one day and you be able to take him away." Maya adjusts you and leans over to kiss Carina " I won't ever take him away. He needs you too. Besides he likes you more." Carina smiles  " Want me to take him home? He falling asleep." Maya shakes her head " It is ok.... Wanna stay for the dinner?" Carina nods " Of course I will." She kisses Maya again  as you look up " Mama go. My momo." They laugh as Maya  looks down " He is definitely tired if he telling you to go." Carina nods and kisses your head and leans on Maya knees " No body will take him. You have a good job and he is in a safe preschool. He will never be taken." Maya nods " Yeah. Thank you." Carina nods " Let's go."
