Maya wakes up at 8:00 and rolls over and looks at the clock and jumps up "Luke!" She runs to your room and doesn't see you. She starts freaking out running to the kitchen when she stops and sees Carina and you in the kitchen. Carina is making breakfast while you are in the baby wrap , she is singing you an Italian lullaby as you coo. Maya smiles " You stayed? You didn't have to." Carina turns around and smiles " I know. But someone was tired and I wanted to help. He woke up four times for eating and once for snuggles. Bambino loves eating." Maya chuckles and kisses your head " Good morning buddy. You look very snug." You coo as Carina smiles " Oh wait! Bambino hasn't pooped. I saw him making a face but nothing came out. But it going to be a big one." Maya groans " Umm you should stay until he does." Carina laughs " Maybe. I made french toast for us. Bambino already eat." Maya nods and pours her coffee " What time did he wake up?" Carina unwraps you and lays you in the baby swing and turns it on " I woke him at 7:15 when I woke up." Maya nods " Captain Herrera said it best for the baby to wake up naturally." Carina shakes her head " That old school thinking. It best to wake the baby when you wake up. It sets them up on schedule. Makes it easier for you to know when he will wake up." Maya nods " Oh ok. Well, I like schedules so sounds good." She smiles and kisses Carina " Thank you for helping. I really appreciate it." Carina kisses her back " Well he is a easy baby. I mean look at him. He already falling asleep in the swing." She hands Maya a plate of French toast and a cup of coffee " Now sit and eat Bambina." Maya sits down and starts eating " Oh my god. These are delicious." Carina smiles " I know. It mine secret recipe." Maya smiles and digs into the food. Carina eats her food as she looks over at you and smiles " I was thinking we can take Bambino to the park. Give him some new surroundings." Maya shakes her head " No. his immune system is weak and there is going to be germ infested kids with sticky fingers." Carina starts laughing " Is that what you think of kids? Hmm now I'm a little worried. If anything Bella it will help him a little. But we don't even have to go the playground. We can walk to the pond and let him get fresh air. It be fun." Maya sighs " Fine. We can go...." Carina smiles and kisses Maya's cheek.
They finish eating and Maya does the dishes while Carina gets you ready " Oh you are so handsome, Bambino. Mama loves you very much." Maya pops her head in " Hey umm you know don't have to call yourself Mama. What if we break up and you just leave. He be confused." Carina looks up and gives Maya a small smile " Well I don't mind being Mama and I'm sure if we break up we can figure out something with Bambino." Maya stays quiet but nods " Yeah. Sure. Are we ready?" Carina gently picks you and holds you close. As they walk outside and Maya sets the stroller down and Carina lays you down and wraps the blanket around you and fixes your beanie. You whine and pull at the beanie and start crying as Maya takes off the beanie and you instantly stop crying as Maya laughs " I guess you don't like hats." Carina chuckles " But his ears are going to get cold." She tightens the blanket around you and sighs. Maya starts pushing the stroller as you coo and stare at Maya. She smiles at you " Hi handsome. You excited to be outside?" You kick your legs out and cool. They both chuckle and talk among themselves as they walk to the park. They get to the pond and Maya gently lifts you out of the stroller " So little man these are call ducks.They quack and eat bread." she squats down so you can see the ducks and you coo. Carina starts laughing " Bambina you need to learn baby talk. Like this Luca these are duckies. And they go quack!" You smile at Carina and Carina chuckles " See better reaction?" Maya laughs and shakes her head " I'm not learning baby talk just for him. Even through he is a baby he can comprehend adult talk." Carina shakes her head and you wiggle around. Maya smiles down at you and kisses your head " Yes those are ducks." You grunt and Maya starts gagging " Oh God. I think he just leak. Carina grab him!" Carina quickly grabs you " Oh bambino finally went poop. Let's change you." She grabs your diaper bag and hands Maya a wipe and quickly changes your diaper. She looks through the bag " Bambina? Did you pack extra clothes for him?" Maya wipes her pants and shakes her head " I forgot. I didn't think we needed another set of clothes." Carina smiles " With babies always expect the unexpected. It is fine. We will just wrap him in his blanket." Maya nods " I will put him in my jacket so he is warmer." She unzips her jacket and gently places you inside her jacket. You coo and sneeze " Oh gross Luke. You got it all over me." Carina laughs " Get use to it. Babies will surprise you." Maya zips her jacket and holds you close " Let get home where it is warm and germ free" You guys walk home while Carina smiles " So are we going to have bambino in the daycare tomorrow?" Maya nods " Yes. I have a normal shift tomorrow. I'm just going to miss him. Captain Herrera brings him around and it's nice to see him." you snuggle closer to Maya as she smiles and Carina smiles " Why don't I bring Bambino by around lunch time? I'm sure he would love to see his mommy. I know I would love to see his mommy." Maya blushes " That would be nice if you do that. Umm yeah I would like to see you too." You guys get inside the apartment as Maya gets you change into pjs and lays you into your playpen. She turns around facing Carina " Thank you for all your help today Mama." Carina chuckles and kisses Maya deeply " Of course. Anything for my bambino." Maya pulls Carina into the bedroom " We can have a play date while he sleeps." Carina smiles " sounds like fun." Maya gently closes the door " let's have fun."
