Chapter 10

After he left, Kat came down only in her robe. "Hey Hayden. Why was Lucas here?"

"God! Who knows why? I didn't know you were here."

"Oh yeah. I was just upstairs in my room."

Hunter came down stairs as well but his pants were falling off of his waist and his shirt was all unbuttoned. He went straight to the kitchen but began: "Did Hayden and that kid Lucas leave yet. And by the way Kat, you are amazing in bed. We must reschedule another date."

He came into the hall way we were in and when he realised we were still here, it seems as though he had seen a ghost. I placed my hand on my hip, waiting for an explanation. I looked over to Kat and she looked super pissed that he had practically told me.

"Ok so before you kill me Hayden there is a perfect explanation as to why it happened."

I raised an eyebrow. "Ok so what happened was... She seduced me into her bed with compulsion and I had no choice. I hadn't had vervain in a long time."

"Well you know what. I'm not going to say anything else. You live your life the way you want to but this is a sex free zone with the exception of myself. I'm going upstairs to go do homework."

When I finally got upstairs my phone was buzzing from an unknown number.

"Hello? Who is this."

"Yes Hayden Hun it's your student Lucas. I deeply apologise for my behaviour and I was wondering if we can meet over a cup of coffee or at an arcade maybe?"

"What ever. Where at?"

"At the Dave and Busters on 108th. See you."

"Bye."

Will I be ready for what he says? No. Will I go anyway? Yes.

When I arrived, music boomed but not many people were here considering it was a Tuesday. "Hey Hayden. I have some food at the table for us."

"Oh I'm ok but thanks." Human food tasted utter most disgusting. Vampire food had special spices and meats made by witches to make then edible. But they are disguised like human food.

"Why did u call me here?"

"I just wanted to hang and get to know you!"

"Bull-shit! Get to the real reason Lucas."

"Ok ok. I kind of wanted to dabble into your love life."

"Oh hell no! Not today and not ever. Let's change the subject."

"I just want a simple answer for one question from you. Please?"

"Shoot."

"Would you ever date someone like me?"

"Yes."

It was true. Lucas is sweet and handsome but just a tad bit perverted. Besides he had that bad boy vibe that I always liked.

"Wait! Are you serious?" His eyes lit up with curiosity.

"No I'm kidding."

"Would you ever marry them? What about kids? Can-"

"I said one question, Lucas, not ten."

"Ok fine. Let's just play some games to get our minds off this and just relax."

I went along with what he said and we began to play some of the arcade games. After a few hours, money ran short and tiredness began to overcome us. We were at a skee ball game and for some reason my technique was falling short and I wasn't scoring high against Lucas as planned.

He began to see me struggle. "Let me help."

It began with his hand on top of mine and then escalated to his hand on my hip. I would be lying if I said I didn't enjoy it the tiniest bit.

"Lucas?"

"Yesss?" His voice rang in my ear from being so close. I could feel his breath on my neck.

"Can I call you Luke?"

"Anything you like babe."

He wrapped his arms around my waist and I realised how tall he was even with my heals. He towered at least 4 inches over me without heals.

"Luke what are you doing?"

"Just enjoying my time with you sweetness."

" I think this is enough bonding for today."

I broke our embrace and looked at my watch. It was almost 10 at night and I needed to get home and get ready for tomorrow. "As much as I would love to continue this Luke, I must go home so I can get ready for tomorrow."

Luke bid me a good bye and I headed home.
