A/N: I wanted to thank everyone for reading my story (don't worry, the story won't be discontinued). I enjoy writing stories, especially fanfics, but I also want to venture into writing original works. I hope that when I do people, you guys enjoy and appreciate it as much as I do. So if you want to see some of that, please follow me! I also have a joint account with a friend of mine. We plan to co-write a story together sometime.
Anyway, back to the story!

It had been a couple of days since Mariana's confession. It had been a few days since Charlie tried to act as if everything was normal for Juanaflippa. It had been 2 days since Charlie called Roier and scheduled a session. It had been several hours since he dropped off his daughter at a friend's place. It had been roughly 5 hours since he cried and watched a romance movie. It had 3 hours since his session. It had been 50 minutes since he picked up his daughter.

Now he lay on the couch absent-mindedly watching another movie while Juanaflippa played with her dolls. He had never felt so exhausted. His mind never seemed to stop swarming with thoughts. He even tried taking a long bath, but that didn't seem to work. It seemed like nothing worked. All his thinking pointed to the same direction. Mariana. But if he called, what would he say? I'll take you back? I want a divorce?

Charlie rubbed his hands over his face. Juanaflippa watched him. She poked at his stomach. Charlie peeked through his fingers. "What?"

"I'm hungry."

"Do you want take-out?"

"Yes."

Juanaflippa's little feet swung as she ate pizza. Dapper sat across from her, talking about something. Charlie ate his own pizza, like a sad little man. Bad was talking his ears off about Quackity's teaching methods.

"--And he dismissed my advice! Can you believe it? I'm just trying--"

"Bad." Charlie interrupted. "If you're so upset, why not homeschool Dapper?"

Bad huffed, "I'm busy, Charlie. I can't just--" Bad stopped himself, and Charlie knew he gave him an idea. He hoped he didn't just make Q's job harder. He finished his pizza half-heartedly and stood up, brushing the crumbs off his hands on his jeans. "Welp! I'm off. Thanks, Bad. Come on, Flippa."

Outside, Charlie helped Juanaflippa into her carseat. "Dad." She said as she wiggled under his hands.

"Yeah?" He responded, still wrestling with the seatbelt.

"Can we go to the park tomorrow?"

Charlie pretended to wipe sweat off his forehead. "Yeah, sure. Do you wanna bring anyone along?"

"Can Papa come with us?" She asked.

Charlie chuckled nervously, "You were with him all weekend. You sure?"

Juanaflippa nodded. "He looked sad."

Charlie sighed. "Okay. I'll call him later."

Juanaflippa beamed.
