I walked into the studio, nervous about how it's going to go. I was teaching my first class at two and it was currently twelve thirty.

Grace, the owner, said she wanted me to come a little bit early so she can meet me and show me around.

This place was a lot bigger than I thought. "Can I help you?" The Receptionist asked with a smile.

"I'm the new hire, Hannah. Grace told me to come early." She smiles and nods her head.

"Let me call her really quick." She grabbed her phone as I looked at the trophies.

They seemed to have a decent amount. "Hannah, it's so nice to finally meet you in person." I heard Grace's voice.

She was a lot smaller in person. She seemed very sweet. I smiled as I walked over towards her.

"It's nice to meet you too." I tell her as I follow her around. She shows me the room I was going to be teaching the kids.

She explains how I was going to be teaching them for an hour once a week and I was going to be doing private lessons for them if the parents ask.

She also told me how we practice every week day at five pm and every Saturday at eleven.

Once comp season starts, we were going to be practicing every weekday and leaving early on Saturday's.

It was going to be a lot but I was ready for it. When she finished giving me the tour, she let me in the room where I was going to be teaching them.

She explained how today's class was their first class ever so she wants me to start with warm up and easy stuff.

I made sure to thank her for everything as she left me by myself to stretch.

The class went really well. We did some intro to hip hop stuff and played some games so I could get to know them better.

They were all a bunch of sweet kids. After I taught the kids, I had some time to get food if I wanted to.

Grace said as long as I'm back around five I should be fine. I asked Max if she wanted to meet at In and Out and she said she would.

I was really excited to try it. I get there before she does so I wait out in the parking lot for her.

When she texted me when she was here, we met up at the front of the burger joint.

"I'm really happy you invited me." She told me as we walked in.

"Me too, I've been really wanting to try this place." I didn't know what to order so I got whatever she had.

When we got our food, we went to sit at a random table. "So, how's your hangover?" I question with a small smile.

She groaned while shaking her head. "I should've stayed sober like you." She teased as we started eating.

I can see why people like the food here. "Oh, how was your first teaching class?" It made me feel good that she remembered.

"It went really well. They were all really sweet and really good." I was excited to teach more classes.

"Well, that's good. Back to the party, did you at least have some fun?" She asked hopeful.

I smiled and nodded my head, remembering back. I did spend the majority of the night talking to Sam.

"Yeah, I talked to Sam for the majority of the night." She gave me a look like she was surprised.

"Oh, really?" She questioned. The way she said that made me nervous.

"Is that a bad thing?" I question her. I was super curious.

She started shaking her head at me. "No, it's just nice seeing you make some friends." I smiled at her.

The two of us talked for a while. It was nice to have lunch with her and catch up on some stuff.

When we finished eating, we made sure to make our separate ways. I drove back to the studio knowing I have my first dance practice.

When I walked in, I walked into the main dance practice. There were a couple people stretching and warming up.

There were two people in the corner laughing at something. The girl noticed me and a smile formed on her face.

She waved me over causing me to slowly walk to her. "You're the new dancer with us, Hannah, right?" She asked as I nodded my head.

"Yeah, today's my first day." They both looked surprised that I was Australian.

The two looked very similar to each other. Dark long hair, round face, and full lips.

His skin was a little darker than hers but not much. "I'm really glad you got on. I'm Rory by the way." I shook her hand.

I look at the guy who's next to her. "I'm Chandler, her older brother." I shook his hand as well.

As we introduced each other, Grace walked in. I started stretching with the siblings.

They asked different questions about my life and if this was the first time I've ever been to America before.

I told them how I was actually from here but I moved there when I was a little kid.

People get confused by it but because I was there at a young age, I developed their accent.

Now, I'm stuck with it. Everyone seems to really like it though.

Once we got done stretching, Grace started talking to us. She spoke to us about how she's really excited for this season to start.

She explained how we're going to different competitions once a month so that's enough to get a dance memorized.

I know studios that go to different competitions every weekend and to learn a new dance every week is crazy.

Grace said that today she wants to go ahead and start teaching us the dance.

It was really hard at first but I eventually got the hang of it. She told Chandler how she wanted him to do a couple flips for it.

I'm assuming that's where his specialty is, doing flips. We practiced for a couple hours.

Grace was a really great teacher. She was very stern and got her point across but she didn't make you feel bad for messing up.

After a couple hours, she finally ended practice. As I packed up my stuff, Rory and Chandler walked over to me.

"We just wanted to let you know that if you ever wanted to hang out with us one day, you can." I smile at the two.

"Of course, what's your social media?" I exchanged Instagram's with them and told them it was really nice to meet them.

I drove back to my apartment, exhausted. It feels like it's been a really long day.

When I got back, I sat my bag down and took a quick shower.

It felt good to wash all the sweat off of me. Once out of the shower, I climb into the bed.

It felt so good to lay in bed after the day I had. I knew I was going to be sore because I hadn't danced like that in a while.

As I laid in bed, I binge watched the original Gossip Girl. That show will always be my guilty pleasure.

Rory ended up messaging me with her number so I ended up texting her.

We texted throughout the night and she was actually really funny.

Maybe coming out here will be a good thing.
