"Are you ready for the party?" Rory asked walking into my room. We were currently getting ready for the party at Sam and Colby's house.

Even though I was tired from dance this morning, I was excited for the party. I needed this party.

With everything going on with social media and working over at the studio, I needed it.

I looked at my outfit, trying to make sure it looked decent.

For some reason, I wanted to dress up a bit more for this party. "Yeah, let's go." I grabbed my things and we walked out of the apartment.

We drove to the boys house with the windows rolled down and music blasting. Chandler was meeting us there so I was excited.

Even though we were going to be hungover tomorrow, we were still going to move over Rory's stuff.

Chandler's going to help and I think Sam might as well. It's going to be rough but it's going to be worth it.

When we get to the boys, the only car I see here is Max's. I was nervous to go in there. I have no idea if Stas was in there with them.

I haven't heard from Stas since they saw me and Sam at Saddle Ranch. I know Max is upset with them knowing they didn't come to me about it.

"It's alright, let's get drunk." I sighed and nodded my head. We got out of the car and walked inside.

They were all outside so that's where we went to. They were talking when we reached them.

"Hey, losers." They turned over to me "Finally, you two make it." Max said while standing up from the patio chair.

"Let's go take some pregame shots." The two of us followed her to the kitchen.

She grabbed a couple shot glasses for us. The three of us take a shot together, the burning liquid going down my throat.

As we stood there and took our shots, Chandler walked into the house.

We made him take shots with us so he started smiling and walked over to us.

"You guys are going to get me shit faced, aren't you?" He asked after taking his second shot.

We all just shrugged as we walked outside with everyone else. Stas and Kat never showed up which didn't surprise me.

It did make me feel a little better though. Eventually, people started showing up.

We took a bunch of bottles of alcohol outside to the patio set. They had a random playlist playing on a speaker.

Jack Harlow's first class came on causing me to rap along with it. "I think you're obsessed with Jack Harlow."

Sam laughed as he sat next to me. I just shrugged while I continued rapping.

I couldn't help it knowing this is one of my favorite songs.

"Sad part is, I'm pretty sure she's sober." Chandler made fun of me.

I scrunch my nose towards him. When the song ended, I took a couple more shots.

"I would love to see him live." We all sat there for a while and joked around while we drank.

I can tell I'm feeling it so I leaned back and started looking around at the group.

I'm so happy that Max's friends accepted me and let me into their group.

I was extremely nervous that they wouldn't like me.

I've never felt more welcomed by another group like this before.

It always makes me happy they accepted Chandler and Rory.

"Are you okay over here?" Chandler asked while sitting on the other side of me.

I giggle and lay my head on his shoulder. I realized that whenever I get drunk, I can get clingy depending on who I'm around.

He seemed like he didn't mind though knowing he didn't try to shove me off.

"Chandler, you have really pretty hair." I giggle. I look at Rory to see she was looking at me grossly for being cuddled up with her brother.

"I'm going to go throw up in the bush." Rory spoke as she stood up and walked away.

"How drunk are you, Hannah?" He asked laughing. I just shrugged and took a couple more gulps of the drink.

Sam got up and walked away from us as well. He looked back at us, and for a second he looked really sad.

I just shrugged it off knowing I was drunk and I'm imagining it. Unless something happened with Kat.

I would get up and ask but I'm pretty comfortable on the patio bench. After a while, I realized I had to pee.

"Max, do you wanna go pee with me?" I question as she nodded her head. The two of us walked upstairs to Colby's bathroom.

We use it whenever they throw parties since they keep it closed off and there's no line.

She goes into the bathroom with me and stands in the corner. "Are you and Chandler a thing?" She slurred.

I laugh and shake my head. "I mean, he's super pretty but he's not my type at all." Chandler's a really good guy.

He's funny, outgoing, athletic, and attractive, but he's not my type. "Let me guess, your type is blonde hair and blue eyes."

I furrow my eyebrows as I finish everything. I look at my cousin as I go to the sink.

"I don't know what you mean." She rolled her eyes. "You have a thing for Sam."

I looked at her in shock as I dry my hands. "No I don't." I deny her thinking.

"Even if I did have feelings for him, he still loves Kat." I frown.

I do think Sam is attractive though. His smile, his personality, his eyes. He's super outgoing and funny.

I do think about him often, and I do get excited when he texts me and when we make plans to hang out.

As I lean against the sink, I realize I might have some feelings for Sam. And I can't believe I realized them drunk in Colby's bathroom.

"Sam and Kat were together for a long time so I think they'll always care about each other." She spoke to me honestly.

"But that doesn't mean that he can't move on, and I know he wants to." I didn't think of it like that.

I'm not giving him the chance to move on because of Kat and the way she's reacting to things.

"What do I even do about it all? What do I do about Kat?" I question worriedly.

"I wouldn't worry about Kat until you know Sam's intentions." She answered the second question.

"With Sam, I would also say to wait. Let him figure everything out on his own." She explains.

I nod my head, taking everything in. There was a knock on the door causing us to look.

"Did you two fall in?" Colby's drunk voice asked on the other side.

The two of us giggled as I opened the door. "We were gossiping." I tell him drunkenly.

He furrows his eyebrows at me as Max laughs. "In the bathroom?" We both laughed harder as he shook his head.

"Girls are weird." He joked as we walked back down the steps. As we walked back outside to the party, I scanned the backyard.

Our group was in the same spot. Sam had re-joined them and he was laughing at something Chandler had said.

When he made eye contact with me, a small smile came onto his face. He patted the spot next to him, telling me to sit next to him.

I remind myself to take things slow.
