Deadpool and Ash: Long Live The King

Chapter IX - Always Meet Your Heroes

Ash, Deadpool, Mia, and Jane stand in front of The King, who is holding his axe.

ASH: You don't have to do this. Why destroy the omniverse? With this power you could be saving it.

THE KING: I am saving it.

ASH: Is this what your wife would have wanted?

THE KING: She was gone millenniums before you were ever even a thought in the omniverse, Ashley. Let me do my work. Let me finish my job.

DEADPOOL: How is killing everyone the right option?

THE KING: This omniverse was beyond saving. There was too much... chaos.

ASH: Chaos is the key to freedom, baby.

Ben, who is hiding behind the cabin, turns into Four Arms and jumps The King, knocking him over. Jane runs over and puts her hands on The King's head, trapping him in his own mind.

THE KING: Wh-what.

The King looks around at a familiar house. The house from his birthday party. The day he discovered Uni.

JANE: Ash! Deadpool! I'm gonna send you into his mind! Take him down and I will release you!

Deadpool and Ash run over to Jane. On the way, Ash picks up the necronomicon that Upside Down Ash had. Jane closes her eyes and sends the consciousness of them into The King's mind.

ASH: Well well well.

The King turns around and faces Deadpool and Ash.

ASH: Look what the cat dragged in.

JANE: Deadpool! You and The King are both weakened. Your healing factor won't work in there!

DEADPOOL: Alright...

Deadpool pulls out his swords as Ash revs his chainsaw. The King grabs his axe.

ASH: Time to take this son of a bitch down.

The King swings his axe at both of them, Deadpool blocks it with his swords. The King punches Ash in the face, expecting him to fly back. But he's weakened.

ASH: Time for you to play by our rules.

Ash punches The King right back in the face, and kicks him in the chest. The King falls back into the dining room table. Deadpool jumps on The King, smashing him through the table. The King grabs his axe and uses the blunt end of it to knock Deadpool off of him and to the side. Ash slashes down at The King with his chainsaw, but The King blocks the blades with his axe. The King gets up, while Ash pushes down on the chainsaw. The King kicks Ash in the leg which causes his knee to buckle.

The King stands over Ash with his axe in-hand. He's about to kill Ash with it when Deadpool tackles him through the wall of the house and into the living room. Deadpool gets a few good punches in, but The King grabs him by the throat and holds him to the wall.

THE KING: So this is how the story of the Despicable Wade Wilson ends? It's a shame.

DEADPOOL: Only one story will end here, and I promise you it's not mine!

Deadpool kicks The King off of him. Deadpool grabs his knife out of it's holster and goes to stab The King, but The King knocks it out of Deadpool's hand and headbutts him, causing Deadpool to fall into the hole in the wall he created. Ash comes in out of nowhere and smashes a birthday cake into the back of The King's head.
