She's a character who defends. She can twice throw poison on the ground; rogues walking on it can no longer recover their HP except if they die. When they step on it, she gains lives.

She grew up in South Africa with her well-off grandmother, her only family. From a very young age (2-3 years old), she took an interest in the various plants in her environment. Her grandmother always encouraged her in her projects. She created portfolios filled with leaves or flowers. Her room is decorated with a lot of plants. When she was little (6 years old), it was dead leaves, and around 10 years old, succulents and carnivorous plants adorned her walls. The carnivorous plants were fed with flies and other insects captured alive by Vy.

At school, she realized she was good at math and scientific fields. In the schoolyard, she was always alone because she was unsociable; her companions were botany books or insects. Students made fun of her, but she defended herself when they were too physically violent by using self-defense moves.

Vy entered a scientific school specializing in botany and found remedies for diseases that infect plants during her studies. An experiment went wrong. She inhaled a toxic gas and unintentionally ingested it with her tea placed next to the container. In the end, it was a guy from her biology class who poisoned her. She killed him and stopped her studies at the age of 20.

She undertook numerous rescue actions and activism in South Africa and other Southern African countries. Rogue Company knows about her through the stories of her exploits shared by people.

At first, she refused; she preferred to work alone. During Rogue Company's more in-depth research on Vy, they discovered she was terminally ill. A new offer was sent to her, promising to find a cure for her disease. She pondered on accepting the offer for a long time. The organization has the latest technologies and instruments to quickly find a serum, much faster than she could do alone with her vials and tools.
