Something

It has been six months already, since Illeana's convocation. She had now shifted to a new city for her job. She was staying alone in that city.

Waking up from her deep slumber, she wore her formals after getting freshen up. Wearing her helmet, she started her bike and drove to her office building.

"Heyy Illeana!! Wait for me!!" She heard Kiara--her new friend in the office.

"How do u manage to look gorgeous everyday huh?" Illeana asked..

"Look who's talking! You know what Illeana? Most of the interns plus our office staffs, drool over you! And you are just not giving anyone attention!" Kiara said. Illeana laughed.

Illeana went to her chamber after leaving Kiara to her cubicle. Her job was to recheck the files of designer jewelleries and then finalise them for the presentation in front of the clients! She started checking some of the files while having her coffee.

During the lunch time, she used to go to the canteen and have lunch with Kiara.

Getting back to work, she used to listen to some songs to relax her mind. Suddenly she got a call from her boss to his chamber. She knocked at her door.

"May I come in sir?" Illeana asked.

"Yeah please!" He said.

"Have your seat!" He said.

"Tomorrow, our big dealer is coming for the presentation of the designs. Are they ready?" He asked.

"Yes sir!" Illeana said with confidence.

"Okay, so you have to do the presentation! We need to crack this deal! They are renowned investors! If they collaborate with our company, we would only face profit! And I have heard that the CEO of their company is very young and passionate about his work! He is not that easy to please during a presentation! I hope you will not make any mistakes! And yes! Be on time tomorrow! I don't want any delay!" He concluded.

"Sure sir! You won't be disappointed!" Saying this Illeana left his chamber. She informed her team members about the news and started rechecking every detail.

After finishing her work, she reached her apartment around 10 and started making dinner. She was having her noddles while checking her phone. She looked at it and immediately kept it down. It was a message, from Ryan. She had changed her SIM but still he found out her number. Ryan was her distraction. She liked him, but couldn't have him as her forever partner. Somehow, she used to blame herself, she was the one who came in between, not Olivia. She didn't have any rights to him. It wasn't wise of her to give her first kiss to someone who was not even hers. She regretted it each and every passing second for these six months. She didn't want to contact Ryan. It would bring her the fond memories which had haunted her till now.

She took her bowl and after washing it she went to sleep. This was her daily routine now for six months.

Here, Ryan was not able to focus on his own work. Olivia was always a distracting factor to him. During his office hours especially. Having no contact with Illeana made it worse. Sometimes he used to think, what made him do that. Why did he choose Olivia over Illeana? What he felt with Illeana, he never felt with Olivia. And for those six months, he was only having the dreams where Olivia was cheating on him. Babil had always told him that he likes Illeana more than Olivia, but he never listened. Even blair told him a thousand times that she liked Illeana more than Olivia. Ryan had still not told his mom about the incident. His mom still believed that Illeana was the one. His mom used to tell him to call Illeana to their house everyday and he used to make up something which was believable.

After shutting off his laptop, he sat on his bed, and started looking at the photo they clicked together. It was clicked by him.

"I have been looking at this photo for six months, it is almost difficult for me to concentrate on any of my work without talking to you. I am still in a relationship with Olivia but nothing feels alright! It just brings me stress! But looking at your smile, reduces my stress. How? I want to meet you Ileana, you can shove this confusion away! Just like you did the last time!" He talked with the photo till his phone rang. It was Olivia. He sighed and answered it.

"What's it?" Ryan said.

"I heard you're leaving for Bangalore tomorrow?" Olivia asked.

"Done investigating? What do you want?" Ryan asked.

"Why are you talking to me like that?" She asked.

"Exactly! Why am I talking to her like that? She's my girlfriend!" He cussed under his breath.

"I am sorry! I was preoccupied with my thoughts!" Ryan said.

"It's okay babe! Okay listen! I will be accompanying you tomorrow! I am going to book my tickets as well!" She said.

"But why? I mean I wouldn't have time to give you, and also i will be coming back as soon as I complete my meeting!" He said.

"But I will still be accompanying you! Don't worry! Bye good night!" Ryan sighed in frustration. He lied on his bed.

After sometime he heard someone knocking at his door. He looked at the door only to find Illeana standing there.

"What are you doing here?????" Saying this he sat on his bed and saw her locking his door. That's when he noticed that she was wearing a Rani pink saree. She came to his side of the bed and held his collars, slowly she made him stand while he snaked his arms around her waist.

"That's how rude huh! After your reunion with Olivia! You just forgot me and did not even try to talk with me!" She said while pouting.

"Only God knows how much I missed you!" He said looking at her eyes intensely.

"Is that so? Then prove it!" She said giving him the same look. In a fraction of a second he pinned her to the wall while she giggled. Slowly he bent down to her level inching closer to her lips. As soon as he was about to kiss her, his eyes opened with a jerk.

He started panting. He looked here and there and realised it was nothing but a dream. He wiped his sweats and started thinking about the dream. Now this was the time he realised that he never had any intimate dream with any girl unless Illeana. He looked at the time and realised that his flight was in the next 2 hours so he decided to leave for the airport.
