Here Ryan was getting over excited to have a tour with Illeana. He had informed Olivia about him staying for some time in Bangalore. She was not happy with him staying which was sensed by him but now he was preoccupied with his thoughts on having a tour with Illeana. His trance broke when he heard a knock.
"Come in!" He said while taking his shirt from the bed and started unbuttoning it. He turned around to find that Illeana had just entered his room and her eyes widened because he was shirtless. She immediately turned around after closing her eyes and moved out of the room after whispering a sorry. Ryan smiled as he recalled their first meeting. Where he came out of the bathroom wearing a towel and she was fixing her saree.
After wearing his shirt he moved out of his room to find Illeana waiting near his door. He tapped on her shoulder making her come out of the trance. She adjusted her hair.
"Shall we?" Ryan asked. Illeana nodded and led the way towards the exit. During their car ride, Ryan was not able to remove his gaze from Illeana. Even in that simple look, she looked breathtaking.
"Though I have visited Bangalore many times! And have explored it! But it's a new feeling exploring it again with you!" He thought to himself.
As the car came to the halt, Illeana got down and went to his side opening the door.
"You don't have to do that! It doesn't suit a girl like you!" Ryan said while coming out of the car.
"You are my boss, sir... I am just an employee and this is no big deal. Shall we?" Illeana said paving the way towards the entrance of the lalbagh botanical garden. Ryan was noticing each and every thing in the garden as if he was there for the first time. He started clicking pictures of the flowers and sneakily some photos of Illeana too. After that, they went to the cubbon park. After exploring the park, they went to a nearby cafe to have some food. After ordering, Illeana was busy looking at the other things about the place. While Ryan looked at her only.
"What's it?" Ryan asked for Illeana's attention.
"What sir?" Illeana asked.
"Stop behaving like you haven't met me before the meeting!" Ryan said. While Illeana looked down.
"Why are you behaving like this? You didn't answer my calls, didn't reply to my messages for these six months! Now that we have met you are acting like we are strangers!" Ryan asked.
Illeana was silent. As the waiter brought all the things they ordered, Illeana took a sip from her coffee.
"I thought you were happy in your life! And my existence will only give you regret! Which was why i detached myself from you!" Illeana said looking down at the coffee. Ryan groaned in frustration.
"Did I ever tell you that you will only bring regret to my life??" Ryan asked.
"That's what I did! Staying in contact will always make you realise that once you used a girl in order to brush off these marriage issues and now that you've got your girlfriend back, you will regret wasting another girl's life which is totally wrong! You have not wasted my life! We weren't in an actual relationship right! You have not broken my heart! And I am okay! I have moved on, and----" Illeana realised what she was saying and stopped speaking.
She abruptly got up.
"There are still a lot of places in Bangalore, which one would you like to visit next sir?" Illeana asked.
Ryan sighed in frustration.
"Let's go to the Bengaluru palace!" Ryan said, while Illeana nodded.
They reached the palace and started exploring it together.
Suddenly after a few minutes, it started raining out of nowhere. They immediately went inside the palace, yet they were a little wet. Illeana started drying her hair while Ryan was still looking at her. Suddenly they saw many of the couples dancing together in the rain. Illeana smiled looking at them.
"You should also join them Mr Ryan! If I am not wrong?" Both of them looked at the source of the voice, it was some mid-aged lady with a young girl.
"Yes ma'am! This is Ryan Brown!" He said.
"Yeah you should also join them!" She said as she grabbed her daughter's hand. Illeana smiled looking at it which was noticed by Ryan.
"Sure ma'am!" Ryan said.
And in a swift motion he held Illeana's hand and pulled her for a dance in the rain. Illeana was too shocked to reach it. Illeana looked at his eyes, as his hold on her waist tightened. She was having butterflies in her stomach looking at their closeness. As her dress was netted, it stuck to her body revealing her curves. He twirled her and pulled her close. Her back crashed with his chest. Her heartbeats were running like a bullet train. She closed her eyes feeling his touch on her face as he removed all the hair strands from her face. Soon they both came face to face, gathering all her courage, Illeana left his hand and went towards their car. Ryan brushed his hand in his hair and followed her.
The rest of the trip went in silence as Illeana was still wishing to be all of this a dream and nothing else.
As soon as she reached her home, she dropped herself on the bed and started thinking of the moment they had in the palace.
"I should be forgetting all of these! But he would be joining our team as one of the investors. I have to face him daily! Why??? Why only me?? It was so hard for me to move on and now he has come here too!" She pushed her face into the pillow.
While Ryan was still thinking about what Illeana was about to speak in the cafe.
