The next day, Illeana got ready as usual and started her bike to reach her office.

As soon as she reached her office she started checking every arrangement for the meeting. Her boss was getting anxious for the meeting so she thought of making the environment light. She went near him and offered him a glass of water.
"Sir, there's no requirement of stress here!" Illeana said while he nodded
"It's just... He's very hard to deal with, and according to the rumours, he has become even worse since the last few months. I just hope we crack this deal." He said.
"We will sir! Don't worry!" Saying this she went to the meeting room for the arrangements. After checking everything she went to Kiara.
"I don't know why I am having this feeling that he would bring a drastic change for us!" She said.
"Either it will be for good! Or for bad!" She said.
"Don't worry Kiara. We will crack this deal!" Illeana said.
As the investors arrived, Kiara led them to the meeting room while Illeana took her laptop and the files. After kiara came out of the meeting room she looked at Illeana.
"Be ready Illeana!! He's really hot!" Saying this Kiara left to her cubicle. Illeana chuckled as it was not new for her to listen!
She entered the meeting room. She greeted everyone, and finally her gaze stopped at the client. She was shocked as hell. Because it was none other than Ryan. Even he was shocked noticing Illeana there.
"Illeana..." She heard her boss as she came out of her trance. She looked at him.
"Please start!" Her boss ordered.
"Ye--yes sir.." she stammered. Sweat bead formed on her forehead as she was scared. She was fearing that her past with Ryan would affect this company. She gulped her fear and sighed. She looked confident this time and started with her presentation. Ryan was not at all listening to what she was speaking. He was busy gazing at her. He was feeling proud of how much Illeana had changed. She was so confident about her work. She looks even beautiful in formals. All over he was happiest after meeting her. But he was adamant to spend some more time with her. As she finished her presentation, Ryan's manager started speaking.
"This plan looks interesting! What do you feel Mr. Brown?" He asked.
"Hmm... I would like to take some more time before finalising the deal!" He said looking straight at Illeana's eyes. While she looked here and there.
"Okay sir.. as you wish!" Her boss said.
"I'll be staying for some days over here, so I would be coming here to check your office environment! That would help me with the decision!" He said to Illeana's boss while looking at Illeana.
"As you like sir.. Illeana! Escort them to their car!" He said while Illeana cussed her boss in her mind. She forced a smile on them.
"I was wondering, that in the meantime, I should explore the city!" He said.
"Yeah sure sir! Illeana! Take your half day today! And help him on the tour!" He said.. while Illeana looked at him shocked, only to find her boss's helpless face.
"Sure sir.." Illeana said.
"Sir.." she said to Ryan and moved aside from the door. As Ryan left, Illeana followed him. Till the way to the lift, both of them were silent.
Inside the lift, Illeana could feel the constant gaze of Ryan on her. She gulped and pretended to look at the file.
"Why did you change your sim?" Ryan asked while Illeana was silent.
"Why didn't you respond to my message last night?" He asked.
"I am sorry sir.. but that's my personal life. It would be good for both of us if we don't merge our professional and personal lives together!" Saying this she went out of the lift and rushed towards his car. She opened his door, and he looked at her face.
"Don't think that you'll be spared from me! Any mistake and the deal would be gone!" He said and left.
She stumped her foot and went upstairs.
"Illeana!" She heard her boss.
"Yes sir?"
"Now everything depends on you! Do whatever he wants! Give him whatever he wants, we need to crack this deal!" He said.
"Sir.. please mind your language! I am not his slave! He can't make me do anything out of my consent! Yes! I will follow his orders! But only those which will be in the limits! If he crosses it! Then I am sorry! I would be obliged to slap him!" Saying this Illeana went inside her chamber.
She started listening to music to reduce her stress. As she closed her eyes, each and every memory of his came into her mind. And at last.. the scene came where she was third wheeling in between Ryan and Olivia. She opened her eyes and rubbed her face.
