Illeana again got up late to the wedding reception. It was in the morning and it was already past 9.

"Why?? Why ille??? Why you need to sleep that much??? Now you are late in the reception too!!! There's nothing can be done to rectify your behaviour!! Why are you this lazy man???"

She said to herself while thrusting the brush more into her teeth! Her gums hurt but she knew that she needed to hurry up! Grasping her saree from her suitcase, she started draping it as fast as possible. Pinning her hair to a simple bun and doing a minimal makeup she rushed out of the room. On the way, she realised her pin had broke.

"Ohh God!!! You had to break now only???" She cussed the pin.

She rushed back to her room to get more pins. She stood in front of the mirror and started draping her saree again, and this time with full concentration so that she doesn't have to face a wardrobe malfunction. She was busy draping her saree because of which she did not feel his intense gaze on her. She held her aanchal on her shoulder and was folding the lower portion of the saree carefully

Just then a message popped in her phone which she checked through the notification, due to which her aanchal came down a little revealing her half bare chest to him. He gulped watching that. Not that he was awkward or something, but he was enjoying his view. Her bare back and now her half bare chest, was calling him towards her. He saw her sighing down.

"Oh god! Thank you so much!! Thank you for saving me from this mess! Thank you for not yet starting the function! Now I can get ready nicely!"

He chuckled on her behaviour. She had already draped her saree and now tugged her pallu to her waist, so that she could move on with her hair and makeup! She had some clips in that room which made it easier to tie up her hair. She made a simple bun which was quite better now! Some locks of her strands fell carelessly, and then she started off with her jewelry.

"Let the makeup remain like that! It goes with this look!" She told herself.

She took one pin in her lips and now started fixing her aanchal , doing that she turned around, her focus was still on her pallu when she looked up, she was so focused in her saree that she did not notice him in the first look. For a second she thought that she saw someone and again looked up, there was him standing with his bare body showing his abs, wearing his lowers.

Her eyes widened to that and she immediately turned around closing her eyes. He got frustrated in her reaction. This was the first time some girl has not checked out his bare body. He slowly went near her and whispered in her ear huskily..

"Did you get that much embarrassed to check me out?" He asked to which she shivered.. she tried backing off but ended up colliding with his big body. He held her waist in order to save her from falling. Her body fitted his arms perfectly. Unknowingly he travelled his hands on her bare back while she had still closed her eyes, slowly she opened them to meet his which is when she noticed him closely. Dark black eyes, perfectly shaped cheekbone, a chiseled jaw line, hairs falling over his head messed up.. he was the perfect definition of the word handsome. Illeana gulped as she checked on his face while he smirked.

"That's what I wanted!" His husky voice had put even more fuel to her desirable body. He noticed the pin still attached to her lips, he smirked as he got a mischievous idea. He slowly bent towards her while she was trying to avoid him. He held her in position by grasping her neck.

"Oh god... am I going to have my first kiss with a handsome freaking hot stranger?" Illeana thought in her mind..

He came so close to her that their lips were an inch apart. He slowly grasped the pin by his lips and pulled it out of Illeana's lips. He smirked and pulled her in position. She looked down as she was flustered.

"They don't belong to where they were a second ago!" He flirted, showing the pin while gathering her courage, Illeana tried taking the pin from him. He hung it even higher. She gave him a stern look. She just placed her palm right in front of him, what came into his mind he silently accepted defeat and put it in her hands. He was even shocked about his behaviour! He never gave up so easily. She pinned her aanchal in front of him and ran out of the room. That's when she realised that out of haste, she had entered his room.

"Oh god! What kind of a fool I am! He must have seen me getting ready! That's so embarrassing! It's not actually! He's a Greek god himself, i won't mind him checking me out and getting all dressed up." She smirked at her own thoughts.

She came to the hall and stood near the food stalls as usual. As she had no friends at that party, she was alone. Actually was!

"So, I finally found you!" He came saying that.

"Oh, I didn't know you were looking for me?" Illeana replied back..

"I like that!" He winked.

"Anyways, I forgot to introduce myself to you.. hi! This is Ryan Brown... I hope you've heard it before!" He forwarded his hand.

"Hi Ryan! This is Illeana! And no! I have not heard your name before!" She gracefully took his hand and smiled sarcastically.

"Really? After the recent conversation we had, I hope you had known me for a while, looking at the way you checked me out!" Ryan stated, making Illeana flustered.

"Not me! It was you who was checking me out all the time I was busy draping this saree!" She mocked him.

He laughed.

"Well! I might warn you! Don't get any wrong thoughts about me! And I have a girlfriend!" He didn't know why he said that, the new info he gave had made Illeana a little sad, but she covered up quickly!

"Nice for you! At least now some people would not drool over me!" She said and was about to leave when he pulled her, and caged her between him and the food table. Illeana got tensed as she was scared of her mom to notice her in this position.

"Is somebody jealous?" Ryan whispered in her ear, biting her earlobe slowly. She felt the same sensation she did in her dream but she knew he was not the right one! She pushed him immediately while Ryan laughed.

"Have some shame! You have a girlfriend! And you are flirting with me publicly!" Saying that she left..

"I am loving your frustrated face haha!!" Ryan said.

"What am I even doing?? I should not be doing any of the things I have been doing recently! I can't cheat Olivia!" He said to himself and concentrated his mind on the function which was going on! He had caught some random stares of Illeana on him while she had also caught some.

"C'mon man! The other handsome hunk is also taken! Am I going to die as a single god?" She complaint!

After the function got over, they decided to have an after party when every guest had gone with only the closed ones present! Ryan had met Illeana's mom dad and they were praising him well! That's when Illeana got to know that Ryan was the groom's best friend.

"The only good thing Aunty has done is to invite him and to give birth to the groom!" She thought to herself. She never liked that lady because it was always her with whom her mom used to be busy ignoring Illeana completely.

Illeana, most of the time, had felt an intense gaze on her. She knew who was gazing at her but she did not dare to look at the source.

Illeana helped Ryan and others to arrange for the party in that same saree. While Ryan was impressed by her accuracy and perfection! This was the first time Ryan was noticing someone so carefully!
