Bike ride

Illeana was sitting in her cabin holding a file thinking of the incident.

"I shouldn't have said that!" She said to herself.

"I need to mend everything!"

She thought and started completing her work as soon as possible. Soon she got a call from her boss.
She went to his cabin.

"Illeana! What's the update?" He asked.

"Now what should I tell? That I have disappointed the client?" She thought to herself.

"I am asking something!" He said.

"Uhmm.. yes sir.. everything's under control!" She said.

"Nothing's under control!" She whispered which was only audible to her.

"Good then! Keep it up! I heard Mr Brown will leave the day after tomorrow! You should crack the deal before he leaves!" He said.

"Ohkay sir!" Saying this she left the cabin.

"I need to do something!" She thought.

After completing her work, she went down and started her bike.
She was on her way back home when she saw a man standing near his car, who looked familiar to her.
She stopped her bike in front of him.

"Who are you?" He asked.

She sighed and opened her helmet, revealing her beautiful face! He was shocked looking at her.

"Want someone's help?" She asked.

"Not at all! I am good!" He said.

"But you don't look good!" She said.

"Listen! I am not at all interested in going with you on your bike!" He said.

"Why so? I will just drop you at your hotel and then I'll leave!" She said.

"I don't want to stand with a person who thinks that I am a womanizer!" He said.

"Ohkay look! I am sorry for this morning! Please forgive me?" She pouted.

"You know exactly where I can melt!" He thought to himself but still maintained a serious look.

"Ohkay! Today's dinner is on me!! Please forgive me! I didn't mean that! I was just a little furious!" She said.

"A little?" He asked.

"Ohkay I accept! I was furious!! But please try to understand my situation, I thought that---" she paused.

"You said that so rapidly in the morning! What happened now?" He asked.

"Ohkay fine!!! I am sorry for whatever happened!!! Now I can't help it anymore! What do you want?? Can I change the past? I said sorry na!!" She bursted over him.

"Oh no! She got furious again! But she looks cute!" He smiled at his thoughts!

"Did I joke about something or what?" She asked!

He realised that he laughed at it so he immediately made a serious look! And nodded in a no.

"Ohkay listen to me! Please keep everything aside! It's late! Your car's tyre is punctured, I can help you by dropping you at the hotel! Please let me help! At least take it as a way of my gratitude!" She said

"Ohkay but I'll drive the bike!" He said.

"No one has rights to my baby!" She said.

"Baby?" He asked.

"Yes! He's my baby! I don't like anyone touching him!" She said touching her bike.

He laughed at her.

"Ohkay you keep laughing I am going!" She said and was about to kick start it when he stopped her.

"No no wait, I am boarding!" He said and jumped at the back seat.

"Just check that you will not throw me off the bike!" He said.

"I am going to do that now only!" Saying this she tilted the bike a little making him fall a little!

"Heyyyy!! Are you mad????" He said..

"No but you are!!" She laughed at it and started the engine.

On the way,
He was enjoying the ride with her, cold winds blowing and her hair touching his face, she was focused on her driving but he was continuously looking at her.
When a speed breaker came, she pushed the break, as he came close to her in the motion! Both of their hearts skipped a beat. Taking advantage of the situation, he slowly snaked his hands around her waist, and hugged her back. Illeana was breathing heavily due to her feelings.

"Wh--at... Are.. you.. d--oing??" She asked stuttering.

"Holding you in position!" He said.

His hot breaths were faming her neck, making her heart beats irregular.

"Ry--an.." she called out his name.

"Trust me! I love to hear my name in your voice!" He said.

When she felt his lips on her nape, she stopped the bike in a jerk.

"What happened Illeana?" He asked being innocent.

"Uh-- I guess, you should drive!" She said as she adjusted her hair.

She parked the bike and switched positions with him. He smirked.
As she sat behind him, she kept her hands on his shoulder hesitatingly.

"Being hesitant to any boy is ohkay, but being hesitant to me is not!" He said which made her blush.

"This feels so right! Me, him, together! I wish it was all true! I wish that Olivia never returned! I wish our fake dating turns into real dating. But they were all wishes, which never came true!" As she thought this a drop of tear fell from her eye.

They both reached the restaurant they planned to have dinner in.
After ordering their food, they were waiting for it to come.

"Why do you behave like this all the time?" Ryan asked.

"Like?" She asked back.

"Like you have never met me before!" He asked.

"Why are you asking that? You have asked that before!" She said.

"Yes because I was not satisfied with your answer!" He said.

There was pin drop silence between them for 5 minutes.

"Look Ryan, the thing is... Whatever happened 6 months ago between us, was beautiful, but not meant for us, it was a mistake, a beautiful one, i got to know you! But, you and Olivia, you both are meant for each other, and i am nowhere in between! It's better for me to forget everything and move on!" She said

"But I am not happy with her!" He said.

"That's because I came in between and you are in your guilt!"

"It's not like that Illeana! I l--"

"It is like that! You and Olivia were a happy couple before me! And now look at both of you! I guess I am the one who is a villain to your love story! Trust me! I should leave! It would hurt Olivia Ryan!"

Ryan didn't say anything and silently had his dinner.

After their dinner Ryan stopped Illeana, as he held her hand.

"I'll be leaving tomorrow!" He said.

"But you were leaving the day after tomorrow?" She asked him.

"You were right! Maybe we are not meant for each other! I should go back to Olivia!" He said.

His words felt like a dagger to her heart! She gulped her emotions and smiled at him.

"Can I hug you for the last time?" Illeana asked.

Without answering her, he pulled her in for a hug and embraced all of their sorrows!
