Shall We Go Now?

He looks so adorable with his beautiful gummy smile. Fuck sunsets, he is worth every glance. I am lost in his smile that is exactly when Jungkook knocks the table in front of me and I flinched.

"Oh My God!! Did I scare you off?" Jungkook with his smirky face.

"N.. No", I fumbled.

"She is scared of a lot of things, let me tell you guys." Kriti was looking at me with the same smirk as of Jungkook.

"You seem to be a very dear friend of them rather than mine." I looked at her with a frown.

"They are all so adorable and handsome so why not? I don't mind being a dear friend of them or maybe more." She winked at Hoseok who was looking at her.

"Woahhh... you are so out front." Hoseok said.

He saw me staring at him. Oh God! What is this Leher? You are doing all the things you will be embarrassed for. Can't you just get a grip of you? How am I going to face him now? Shitttttttt..................

"Tch..", I sighed thinking that I did this in my mind but guess what did I do? Embarrassed myself again and now I have to come up with an excuse that explains why did I do that because you know how Jungkook is, he won't let it go unless he hears what was the reason. My phone started ringing at that very moment and I thanked god that they saved me.

"Excuse me, I'll have to take this call!', I said getting up and there you go, Yoongi realised that the "Excuse me" he heard earlier was from me. He is now looking at me with some weird expression on his face.

It was her! I am so sure it was her. Then why did she not recognize my voice earlier? She should have recognized my voice. Maybe I'm not her favorite member that is why she did not say anything about me and talked about every one else.

"Why is Abhishek calling you right now?", Kriti questioned that brought Yoongi to the reality.

"I don't know. I told him I seriously need a break. Let me just answer and see." I said and answered the call.

"Who is he? What's the break she was talking about? Does he trouble her?", Taehyung asked Kriti meanwhile they all have eyes on her now as they are waiting for her to answer.

"Oh no no.. It is not like that. He is the co-founder of the company where she works. I met him thrice in these two years. Leher seems to be working with him directly. She manages all the on - boardings, interviews, clients and his meetings. Most of the meetings are supposed to be attended by her as she is the one makes notes for him and she works like crazy. When she is working, you should see her. She is so serious while working. This guy apart from work, he likes her I guess. There is something from his side because he tries to indulge Leher in various other events that are not work related. A few weeks back, she was so frustrated that she did not report to him and took an emergency leave. She even said that she can't work anymore, it is getting in her head and she felt it's going to explode. She told Abhishek that she is considering resigning and when she said that she was with me. He literally came all the way to convince her for not putting resignation. She was so pissed that she said it's not working for her. She stood and left. She has asked for a break of twenty days I guess with a condition that he won't bother her unless it is something he can't manage." Kriti explained and they all sighed.

"Now I understood why does she look so tired and sleepy." Jiminie sighed

"Yeah right." Kriti.

"What's right?" I asked.

"What did he say?" Kriti questioned

"He said he wants me to join as early as possible, it is getting difficult for him to manage things without me. It felt like I am doing something wrong by asking for some time for myself." I sighed

"I will talk to him." Kriti is furious now.

"No, you can't. I know exactly what you will tell him. Stop with that he likes you and all." I said

"He does! Trust me Leher. I have seen it." Kriti said convincingly.

"What have you seen? You met him for three times only. He just wants me to work, he is super dependent on me when it comes to work. I do feel like resigning right now." I felt bad.

"If you feel like, just do it." Yoongi said and I immediately looked at him with a sad smile on my face.

"Do you think for real that he is going to let me resign so easily? He made so many changes in my contract. I cannot resign on short notice. I have to notify him six months prior and also hire a person who can work exactly like me. That's absurd and bullshit. How can someone work like me? Even if teach them, it will be different. He does not understand." I said this one breath.

"Still you have your right to resign." Yoongi is still at it.

"I am thinking about it. I will do that if it goes out of hand." I sighed again.

They all noticed that I am getting sadder so they tried to divert the conversation except one of them.

"Why do you want to wait until it gets out of hand?" Yoongi is now pushing it further.

"Hyung just let it be." Jimin says

"Hyung really let it be." Namjoon says but he wanted this conversation to go on as he knew I am still thinking about it and I will keep thinking about it as Kriti said.

"No, I want to know what is it that stopping her?" Yoongi still looking at me.

I am looking at him too and I don't know what gets into me, "Why do you want to know? It should not bother you Yoongi." I do feel like screaming and tell him that "I do want to quit and I don't want to work anymore but still this is what we all feel from time to time no. Isn't it natural? It is right?" His eyes are soft now and not fierce anymore. I could see that he does not want me to answer now rather just let it go.

"I am sorry! I should not have spoken to you like this. I am so sorry.." I apologized.

He smiled and said, "I am not mad, I am just concerned."

"Sorryy.." I made my best possible puppy face. I think it worked as he ruffled my hair and said, "It's alright!" and smiled. I did sense the softness now.

It was new for me. Not everyone is usually this concerned about me. People usually cut me off while I speak so I have this in me now that I won't speak a lot even when asked to because it seems that the other person will lose the interest eventually. 

"Shall we go out now?", Yoongi says loud enough for me to hear as he has already said it thrice and all of them left except me and him. So, I flinched.

"Huh?" I looked at him with questioned face.

"Shall we go out and have some ice cream?", He repeats and I am looking at him with big eyes and raised eyebrows.

"Shall we?" He repeats again and now he takes my bag and holds my hand before letting me get up.

"Where are you lost? If you want to talk, talk to me. Only if you are comfortable otherwise talk to your favorite member or whoever you feel comfortable with but just let it all out so that you can feel better." He smiles but I could see a sad smile.

"Wait" I stopped still holding his hand, he stopped and turned around. He is looking at me with his curious face. I am now taking steps to close the distance between us.

"My favorite member?" I asked.

"Yeah.." He said

"I am an OT7 Yoongi. You all are my favorites. Don't ever say that and feel that. If I want to talk, I will talk to you too. How did you even think that you are not one of my favorites? I am sad now." I sighed and looked at him with a sad face.

He hisses, "I thought you did not talk about me and spoke about all of them so-"

"So what that does not mean I don't like you. What if you are my favorite member? Will you talk to me whenever I feel like talking?" I interrupted him

He is smiling now, "Of course" and caresses my hair. I am smiling at him and still feeling as if it is a dream and I will be waking up soon alone.

"Shall we go now?" He asks again caressing the back of my palm.

I nodded a 'yes' and smiled. We are walking hand in hand who knows what is destined to happen.
