I catch Bill just before he opens the door to the creepy ass house I don't at all want to go into. "You can't stop me." He snarls slightly without looking at me. "Feisty. I like it. But no, I'm not here to stop you. I'm here to join you," he finally looks up from the ground and smiles at me and I smile back, just happy to help. It's not like I value my life anyway. "Bill you can't do this! This is crazy!" Bev shouts from behind us, obviously trying to stop him but doing such a terrible job it's almost laughable. They proceed to go into a whole bit about why they should and should not go in but I zone out, looking at Richie. I don't know why I did it. I don't like him.

I hate him. Right?

I'm snapped out of it when Bill taps my shoulder lightly. "C-c-come o-on," he says, feigning bravery. Hah! I see you. I follow him, Eddie and Richie inside. "Hey, Bill?" I ask, slightly confused. "Ye-yeah?" He replies, not even turning around. "Why isn't everyone else coming in?" "Oh, they didn't want to. Said they should keep a 'look out'." Pussies. I hear gagging and turn around to see Richie laughing and Eddie coughing violently. I walk over, wondering why Eddie has already had a coughing fit after we've only been in here for less than five minutes. I look between them. "What's going on? You ok Eddie?" "I'm fine-! J-just dusty," he replies, obviously lying. I didn't wanna push it. While looking around, we don't notice that Richie the explorer had wondered off into the forest that is the cobwebs until we hear him hyperventilating. Bill walks over and tries to figure out what happened and so does Eddie. I start to take a step when I hear someone call me.

"Ashley... Ashleeeyyy!"

Oh hell no.

I try to walk the other way but it's like something pulling me towards it like a magnet. Ok that's a little dramatic, I was just curious. I take a few steps up the creaky stairs... not sketchy at all, also I think I just swallowed a cobweb. I've now arrived on the second floor. There's nothing too eye catching, just looks like your usual haunted house. No big deal.

I continue looking around until I hear a creak. I turn to see a door behind me had opened. Could just be faulty doorknobs, right? That can happen. Rust and shit right? I don't know jack about doorknobs.

While on my little rant about doorknobs in my head, I seem to have stepped into the room. There's nothing too eye opening, just looks like a room. Normal. Old.

Damp.

Why is it damp?

Mould... mould smells damp, right?

I look down. Why is the floor glistening? Either there's water or someone's been doing some nasty shit here. I really hope it the latter, even if it's still bad. Hate water. As I zone out, the water seems to rise above my shoe... why isn't it leaving the room?

Fuck this, I'm out.

I turn and start walking back towards the door only to hear a slam. I never should've done this. A laugh echoes through the room, sounds like a clown. Welp, I guess I'll die. A part ginger, mostly bald ass pops out from behind a box, I freeze. I wish I could move, I'd YMCA this bitch. But I can't. I stay still right there in shock, not even able to back up when he approaches me slowly. Perv. He's talking. I can see his lips moving but my head is fuzzy and nothings going in. He frowns, I think I upset him. He clicks his fingers..? What's that meant to do? Oh- oh ok.

Water. Filling up the room. Fast.

He goes behind a box and disappears. Thanks, asshole. The water level is to my knees, I can barely swim so at the rate the water is rising, I'll be dead soon. Well I probably deserve it-

Richie/Other POV:

"Betty?" "Ripsom?" We start taking some steps up the stairs. "Wait" I say, making everyone pause. "Shouldn't we wait for Ash?" My words make them look around the bottom floor... she's not here. "Well where is she?" "Maybe she's already upstairs..?" "She is fast." I hum in acknowledgment and we start walking up the stairs, searching for both Ash and Betty. We go up and the first thing we see is a lot of doors. So many rooms. Oh Lord.

Ash's POV:

I'm only just floating, already to the ceiling. I reach my hand up, grabbing onto the mini chandelier in the room. Oh- oh- nevermind. That's being submerged too. The ceiling has a rough wallpaper which hurts my hands when I try to stabilise myself on it. I press my cheek to the ceiling to take my last breaths before being fully submerged.

3... 2... 1... and I'm under.

I try to swim down to the door to jiggle the handle but it's no use. My lungs scream at me to breathe. I can't. My brain fuzzes with a static-like energy as I try to move. Everything burns as I claw at the door then at my throat. Everything goes fully dark as my body goes limp and water floods my mouth. I'm sorry, i really tried. Just for you.
