Yeosang's foot kept bouncing up and down, bouncing up and down as he waited on a bench for his friend to come join him.
"Sorry for the wait" Wooyoung appeared out of nowhere with a big smile, not looking very sorry.
"What took you so long, you told me your meeting with the teacher ended ten minutes ago" Yeosang rolled his eyes and got up, walking along side the other.
Yeosang was a very patient guy but he and Wooyoung had agreed to go all the way down to the forest engineering faculty to go eat with San and he was already way too hungry to pretend it didn't piss him off to wait for his friend.
"Why do we have to go eat down there again? There's a huge cafeteria right here?"
"Forest engineering has a smaller restaurant like cafeteria and it's a hundred times better" The other answered, still smiling.
"How would you know?"
"I've already gone"
"When???"
"San took me once or twice"
At that moment it all made sense to Yeosang, he looked at his friend before smiling as well. It was a known fact that Wooyoung and San were into each other and he found it almost cute that they still pretended like they were only friends. Now it all made sense as to why Wooyoung was so happy, why his hair was done in a pretty ponytail and he had swapped his usual sweatpants for a leather jacket and black pants.
"I hate that forest's faculty is so far away"
There wasn't much sun but the simple fact of walking had Yeosang tired and hot, right now he wanted nothing more than to sit down and eat, with a little bit of luck, not be too much of a third wheel.
On the way to forest engineering they talked about a quiz they had the next day, about going to eat at the tacobell after and maybe stay at Wooyoung's frat house after it. It wasn't a real frat house, just a building next to campus with rooms for the students and a shared kitchen but it was the place where the boys would hang out the most.
"Okay, where's San?" Yeosang looked around, he was hungry, he was tired and his friend was nowhere in sight.
"Oh, there he is. And he's with a friend" Wooyoung pointed at a head of pink hair that was talking to another boy.
He was rather tall, with greyish hair and a fashionable side bag slid across his torso. Yeosang didn't like new people and wanted to wait for San to finish his discussion before going over but Wooyoung had other plans in mind. He yelled to get the elder's attention before walking over and greeting him with a smile and a hug.
"You're here! Sorry, I was just finishing up with Seonghwa, he's a classmate of mine"
Introductions were made but not a lot of small talk when Yeosang urged them all to either go eat or let him go home but his happiness was cut short when San suggested Seonghwa stayed to eat with them. The first ten minutes were a bit awkward for them but he ended up warming up to the elder quite easily.
Seonghwa had entered a year before them and would tell a lot of stories about this place and the teachers, he was an amazing story teller and Yeosang found himself hanging on his every word.
By the time the four boys parted way, Yeosang almost didn't want Seonghwa to go.
"So, you two seemed to hit it off" San said as the three made their way back towards the business management faculty in the center of campus.
"He's nice. And quite good looking"
"He really is!" Wooyoung chimed in. "With his slender nose, and full lips. He has gorgeous hair too and that tone of voice, so suave and smooth"
"So you liked him too, then?"
Yeosang smiled when he heard San's comment, but Wooyoung clearly hadn't noticed the jealous undertone.
"Yeah, he's very friendly"
"And he's a really good guy too, he's nice and studious. A wholesome person" San continued to compliment his friend while Yeosang tried his best not to point out the lack of enthusiasm in his friend's voice. He knew it must've been killing him to know that Wooyoung had taken a liking to Seonghwa.
"So what now?" The elder asked when they got back.
"Now I go home and finish studying, I can't ever get anything done past six o'clock so I better hurry, I haven't studied much for tomorrow" Yeosang stuck his fist in his hoodie and swung side to side as he watched his two friends. "How about you?"
"I'm probably going to go home too. San, want to come with? Just for a while, you can quiz me"
The ravenette watched his friend pretend to ponder whether or not he wanted to go, when he already knew the answer was obviously yes.
"Sure, why not?"
"Alright, have fun you two and remember Wooyoung's walls are paper thin" Yeosang was already walking away but he could still hear his friends' indignant complaints and nervous chuckles that he laughed off.
On his way home, he thought about the boy he'd met earlier today, he really was something and he hoped he'd be seeing him again soon. Maybe it was time he put in extra effort togo visit San and Hongjoong's faculty more often.
